watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc. dear brothers:.. we received your letter of december 17 in which you inquire about handling a situation involving a brother who has been guilty of serious violation of the law in the past.. you explained that you received information indicating that this brother ?committed several murders and crimes before his baptism.
you ask if law obligates some action on our part.

In 1933 the branch office moved to larger rented premises in Cape Town and remained there until 1952. By then the Bethel family had grown to 21 members. Those early Bethelites had accommodations in brothers’ homes and traveled to the office and printery every day. Before work each morning, they met in the changing room of the printery to discuss the daily text. After that, they recited the Lord’s Prayer in unison.Atlantis! -

Half of my post got deleted someway! I'll try again.
Some of the "Prayer Meetings" were stopped in 1923 and then later on in 1949.
Back in those days it was called the "Prayer, Praise, and-Testimony Meetings".
In 1923 most of this was removed for field service experiences.
At one time they removed praying at the meetings altogether, because they said that the worldly people did not come to the meetings to hear prayer. The worldly people came to the meetings to hear what the Watchtower advertised.
In a letter dated November 17, 1949 reasons were given why prayer was absent from the meetings.
All of the above information comes from the Watchtower Library.
Rutherford did the same thing when he removed "singing" at the meetings. Rutherford felt singing at the meetings was worldly. But after Rutherford kicked-the-bucket, they brought singing back.

My story
by PimoElder inhi everyone i’m a pimo elder ex bethelite and pioneer who has been having doubts for many years.
as of late i’ve come to have even more doubts mainly due to the gb pushing the vaccines and acting like salesman for big pharma companies .
i will never take these vaccines even if it meant i couldn’t go to the hall as was previously said but the gb have done a big u turn on this now.

the benefits of that direction were evident when the covid-19 pandemic broke out.
while many in the world were uncertain about what course to take, jesus made sure that we received clear guidance to keep us safe.

Thank you for this information. The Watchtower must have forgotten about the letter they sent out, admitting that the covid-19 infection rate was "higher" with JW's than the general public.
So, what kind of direction is that? Didn't they also show a video with a GB member describing over 20 thousand deaths in the organization?
These "jack-asses" make this stuff up as they go along!

Rutherford and dinosaurs
by jhine insorry if this has been discussed before but on quora someone asked if rutherford had said that dinosaurs had been taken to venus .
i assume that the questioner had heard it somewhere and wanted to check it out.
i've never come across this before is it true ?
