1914 Questions

im not sure if this has already been asked here but i have some questions about 1914. if jesus arrived "invisibly" in the year 1914 why do the anointed partake of the emblems?

why didn't they stop in 1914?.

if jesus is ruling in heaven then why are the anointed still on earth?

Fred Franz already said in his talk that 1914 and 1925 were a mistake. Fred also debunked the concept of a governing body.

Is it okay for JW to work for Df’d person?

What if a disfellowshiped person and a member of the congregation both work at the same place of secular employment? Could they have association then, since their work may require them to have communication with one another? Here again, it is a matter of recognizing the changed status of the one who is disfellowshiped.

While it is permissible to converse to the extent necessary for carrying out the functions of the work, it would not be proper to associate in the sense of communicating freely, without regard for his status. Only the necessary business would be discussed, never spiritual matters or any other matter that does not come under the category of necessary business related to the secular employment. If the contact required is too frequent and intimate, the Christian could consider changing his employment so as not to violate his conscience.

please explain what what is meant by "reinstated within the past 5 years" when elders consider recommendations for brothers to serve as elders or ministerial servants.

The September announcements were late, and the October announcements were right on time. Elders will sometimes "delay" sending a document to give time for it to be posted somewhere else, and by someone else, first.

This way, it protects them from being found out. There are all kinds of little tricks and stuff that protect elders. These guys are risking everything to assist us here. Most of them are fed up with the Watchtower.

Sending us documents is sometimes the only way an elder can voice his opinion, and vent out his frustrations about the things going on inside the Tower.

These little "tricks" also help to protect Simon's board. We can always say: (Well it was posted and made public somewhere else first, and then we received it. It is not our fault because someone else made it public first.)

You know the routine my friend! Cold German Beer for everybody!
