  Again, More confusion about the direction of the Watchtower Society

  hi friends, i have not been on this board in awhile, and i would like to get some thoughts from some of you.

  i have noticed a change within my 4 siblings in approximately the last year and a half to 2 years regarding their communication with my mother and i. they have either phoned us, texted, emailed, or written a letter or card to us.

  the conversation has been good, and on any topic that comes to mind.

  I know JW's who will tell an Elder to his face (You are "not" telling me that I can not associate with my son or daughter or relative. They are my blood take your rules and ram them up your ass!)

  I know a sister right now who has told her JW husband that she will tell an elder those very words if an elder starts any crap with her. The husband prays that they will not get a shepherding call, because his JW wife visits with her disfellowshipped daughter all the time.

  There are JW's out there who ARE NOT going to be told that they can not associate with their loved one. Period!

  The 2023 October Elder Manual has this to say about associating with disfellowshipped and disassociated people.

  
  The two words to look for are: Nonrelative and Relative
  If a person associates with a "relative" who is disfellowshipped he or she would not qualify for privileges, but a judicial meeting would "not" be needed, unless there were spiritual conversations going on or fault of the elders was being discussed about the relative being disfellowshipped.
  Since JW's know this they are contacting their disfellowshipped relatives occasionally.
  A Nonrelative would have different rules and regulations.

  Yes, I remember some of those manuals with the glued in pages, and we have an elder manual that was published in the 1990's with handwritten notes all over it. If you want it I'll send it over to you.

  Stickers against Jehovahs witnesses

  in malta in 1980s the catholic church issued a yellow sticker telling jehovahs witnesses not to knock on their door.

  this was distributed with all the parishioners.. i would like to know if others countries had this in place before the 1980s especially maybe italy and ireland?.

  1950's to 1960's Anti-Jehovah's Witness Posters. In the 1950's there were 2 Watchtower Governing Body's operating at the same time. But Gerrit Losch fails to mention anything about this in his video. The "other-governing-body" were the KGB.

  The Report confirms 90% of everything Losch mentions in this Watchtower video. What Losch fails to mention is that the KGB were printing their own Watchtower Magazine. The KGB were going out in the Ministry Work, Marrying Jehovah's Witness couples, speaking at JW funerals, sending out Watchtower Missionaries, and placing literature.
  
  The bulk of the Report is right there in Watchtower literature. The real kicker is this, even while the KGB were acting as Watchtower Governing Body in the Soviet Union countries, there was an "increase" in converts.This would mean that the KGB was doing just as good of a job as the Governing Body here in the United States.
  The Watchtower always says that an increase is due to Jehovah's Holy Spirit. Well then, the KGB must have had the same Holy Spirit as the Watchtower Society.
