Have we covered yet that there's dubiety over wheather or not John the Baptist entered the Kingdom of Heaven, as per Matt. 11:11 and the gospel of Thomas?

Little Toe, this is just my opinion but when Jesus said "the least one in Heaven is greater than he is" John was still on earth so those in Heaven would be greater. Who knows for sure , when John died he could have gone to Heaven.I know when i was a JW they taught John would be here on earth but they have told so many lies, you can't believe what you once thought was true. Wheather he went to Heaven or not, doesn't matter to me but what does is trying to get those who are still slaves to that organization to do research and than they will see the truth isn't in that cult.

Hello, I am not a JW but I believe that is speaking of Jesus as is Rev.3:14. JWs also believe this because i was once 1 of them.They have SOME truth but mostly they teach lies. Such as the end of the world would come in 1914,1918,1925, 1975 and then they lie and say they never gave any certain day as to when the end would come.They even prophesy in God's name and lie and say they never but look in any inside cover of the awake mag.from march 1988 -Oct.1995. It says "this mag. builds confidence in the "CREATOR'S PROMISE" of a peaceful and secure new world"BEFORE" the generation that SAW the events of "1914" passes away.If God had promised that it would have came true. Don't you think so?

Only Jehovah's Witnesses

i'm just new to this internet stuff and am studying with the jehovah's witnesses at present.please don't take my lack of knowledge as cheek.

i just want to know if it's meant to be only jehovah's witnesses using this site.

i fully intend to become baptised but was wondering if there's any security to prevent people who shouldn't be using the site and are maybe abusing it from doing so.

A simple way to prove Watchtower Society wrong is to start at 539[which Society accepts for the fall of Babylon] and starting with the last four Kings which are Neb. who ruled 43 years, Evil-merdach ruled 2 years, Neriglissar 4 years, and Nabonidus 17 years. Society agrees with History on these years.Nabonidus ruled 17 years down to 539 add 17 to 539=556, add 4 =560 add 2 =562 add 43 =605. History says Neb. first year was 605. 2 Kings:25:8 says Neb. desolated Jerusalem in his nineteenth year.605 down to his nineteenth is 587. Every encyclopedia and History book says 587.So easy for those who love the truth more than an organization.

i hear and read alot about peoples experiences and some are pretty horrendous....does anyone actually feel they have benefited from being a jw at least in one way or another...me personally i feel i benefited from the ministry school as public speaking is part of my job and has definately improved career prospects?.

I think the only positive I learned was how much the JWs are hypocrites, and how the WT publications are full of shit. I am quoting Nosferatu. I tried to highlight and click on the bubble but am new at quoting so don't know if I done it right. Anyway I certainly feel the same as he does. The reason they are so full of shit is because that organization is run by apostates.

I like the title of the Daniel book "Pay Attention" Maybe that is what they need to do since they say Daniel was takin to exile when Jehoiachin was takin in 617 because the Bible at 2Kings24:12 says Jehoiachin was takin in the eighth year of king Neb. And Daniel 2:1 says Daniel was already takin in the second year of the King. Daniel 1:1 shows he was takin the first year of Neb.

I can't get a straight answer

can anyone tell me if the organization believes that when a married spouse is addicted to pornography, they are actually cheating?

i mean cheating in the sense that the "innocent" spouse can then declare that they are victims of adultery, and be free to marry again?

i looked around their website and found nothing that specifically stated that it is considered cheating.

Glofishy, I am a little late but wanted to tell you what happened to a friend of mine. Her husband moved out and left her with 2 little boys for a "worldly" woman, one that he had admitted to having sex with a few years back.She was told if she divorced him, she could never remarry, if she did she would be DF. I was in the so called "truth" at that time so me and another friend had to actually get him on tape showing he had spent the night there.They DF him and she got a divorce and married again. Sad to say to another JW.Her ex. has since been reinstated and I think he is living with the woman but he is where he deserves[back in the organization}.A lot of the JWs know he hasn't changed but just say "Jehovah will take care of it." The reason he got back in is because who his Dad is in the congragation. I know his Dad personally and he is a liar and so is his Wife.I got out pretty quick after that because I done a lot of research and checked History out and found out the organization is based on a lie. The 1914 doctrain is wrong. 607 is wrong but they can't have 1914 without 607. History says Jerusalem was laid desolated in 587.History also shows they are 20 years off on all their Kings ruling at the time Jerusalem was desolated. Check Josiah, Jehoiakim, and Zedekiah out.Hope you get to read this.
