had a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .

is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

Children of adult ex-jw's

my wife and i were both jw's for the past 28 years.

we left two years ago, we wrote our da letters and split.. my wife felt very contained, there was no room to grow.

i started to fade slowly, but when my mom died, i saw the complete lack of love from the brothers and that sealed the deal for me.. we have two sons, 22 and 26, who we raised as witnesses, not the die hard type, just try and do your best.

I raised 3 children in that organization. Wasted 33 years of my life before I found out what a lie it was. Two of my children are still in. My youngest is 42 and he is out and does not believe in God. I have a grandson who is 13 and he told me, he hates the organization. His parents are still in. I have been out for 7 years and not DF. So they let me see him and I have been talking to him and showing him from the Bible how wrong the Organization is. He is listening. I can't believe as old as he is, they let him see me. But its too late now because he is never going to be Baptized.

anonymous4, Read Jeremiah 25:11. At the top of their own Bible it states "70 years exile due." Even tho the Bible says they will serve the King of Babylon 70 years, they say God was wrong. Their book "Insight on the Scriptures", Vol. 2, page 332, they even quote Jeremiah 11, the very next paragraph they say, "Even before the end of the 70 years of exile, Babylon fell, in 539 B.C.E." Babylon did fall in 539 but AFTER the 70 years of exile. Who do you think was right, God or the organization? They believe Judah was desolated in 607, thats another lie. So many more lies but stay here and you will see them.

Where do you go from here?

by still looking in

after either being a witness or studying with them, and you find out stuff that has you leave, where do you go?

i don't think they are the true religion, but i do think they teach a lot of stuff that is correct.

like the trinity being a false doctrine, no idle worship, including crosses, and hell isn't a forever torture.

Grandkids

today my sister and i were out shopping,( she is or never been a jw).she is the only one.

the jw,s families keep in contact, to see what is going on with the rest of non-jw family.. so as we were paying for our items she drop her purse and some pictures came out.

helping her i notice these two pictures and i ask her who are these two little girls.

Thats sad. Most everyone on this site hates that religion. I get to keep both my grandkids about twice a month. My Daughter and her husband are still in and guess they will always be. My Grandson is 13.and I had them both today, he told me, he hates the organization. I was glad to hear that. I can imagine how you must feel. So sorry. I am showing my Grandson how wrong they are and he is listening.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses Feel Like They Have To Label You?

ok here's a little story on my background i was baptized in 2003, and i was a model witness for 2003-2006. then i had sex and was at first put private reprove (2006) and i made a another boo-boo in 2007 ( public reprove ) .

i was then given a bad name and thats when i started to get ''troubled'' label and a bad name around the circuit.

i labeled as "party boy" and ''sex hound'' ( which i was lol.

Awake June22,2000 pg.6 "Some people insult those who disagree with them...Name calling slaps a negitive easy to remember label onto a person..If people reject the person on the basis of the label instead of weighing the evidence for themselfs, the name caller's straegy has worked." Now you know why the WTS labels.
