There was such a map on this forum around 15 years ago. I wonder if it still exists.
There seemed to be more participants then, but none from Poland that I recall. It's funny how things change.
i am an ex-jw and a member of this forum (not so active lately ;)).
in poland, we created a map of ex-jws (and their friends ;)) to find former friends from the organization or to contact someone living close to them.
many people found each other after many years outside of the organization thanks to this tool.

i see there has already been discussion over lloyd’s new book how to leave the jehovah's witnesses.
this includes discussion around his personality, motives and financial gains.
i have written a foreword for this book, because it is an important topic that has not been covered in such a complete format before.
Well done to them for putting up with it. Maybe they think it's just a phase.
atlantis recently leaked hours of videos recommended only for immature audiences, in this case bethelites, so i thought i'd share just a few highlights of things that stood out to me, along with some screenshots.. some minor renovation/cleaning was done at patterson, including white paneling in the auditorium and cleaning out the plant alcoves under the stairs, one of which was said to have a big spider cave..
I knew there'd be explosive revelations in these leaks.
does anyone know what it means to be "securely wrapped up in the bag of life"?
is this a new special wt terminology?
they said it or a slight variant of it, several times in the broadcast, perhaps 3?
Looks like the 2013 Bible to me. Not sure why you get the idea it's an older one.

I didn't know Lloyd is living with his in laws. And they are JW? How on earth does that work? He also posted an ill-judged video about his sister a few months ago. He took it down after a couple of days.
His patreon income is public information apparently. The poor judgements over Facebook outings, Crisis of Conscience copying, vlogging about his sister, charging money to include people's stories in his book, were all public.
since leaving the jws i have become more interested in finding out about other faiths.
here are a few of my findings.. lds: i just couldnt get my head around the mental gymnastics i would have to do to understand their doctrines and theology.
i attended their services twice.
I joined all those except Iglesia in Cristo, but I've not written about the Christian Science meeting or the Pentecostal ones.
The Christian Science meeting (Wednesday night) was just a set reading followed by a few experiences. Only 6 people including myself were present. One my took my email and sent me a few video testimonies of healings.
The Pentecostal meeting was distinguished by very loud and cheerful singing with hands in the air. The owners of the church also seem like money grabbers to me, and I was quite clearly made to feel unwelcome.
Other groups: Quakers, Unitarians, New Apostolic Church, Methodist, Catholic, Church of Scotland, Baptist, Church of God/Grace Communion International.
The New Apostolic Church makes a particularly interesting comparison with JWs.
roll call for the benefit of newbies and lurkers.
in one sentence tell why you left the org.
not 2 sentences.
I left because it was hometime.
Properly pronounced: dug.
What do you call a man who doesn't own a dog?
Douglas.
we received an invitation in the mail yesterday for my jw niece's wedding.. i am posting this just to add for any lurkers to see typical jw practices.. 1st - and perfectly understandable for anybody who is or was a jw.
i'm not invited.
:) hey, i'm really not complaining about that.
Sometimes I get the idea that JWs don't view this kind of behaviour as problematic. They think you are the problem because you are not a good JW as if it's you creating the difficulty for everyone else. And if you point out their behaviour is unkind they just feel righteous/persecuted/superior with no sense of shame.
