  I was a victim of a Baptism Fascist! (were you?)

  when i was baptised it was in the kingdom hall pool; i was only a teenager.

  i was baptised by an old elder from a nearby congregation, but next to the pool stood the baptism fascist .

  people in the congregation said my baptism was not valid because of my little toe.

  When I was baptised it was in the kingdom hall pool; I was only a teenager. I was baptised by an old elder from a nearby congregation, but next to the pool stood the Baptism Fascist with the towel. It was not enough for this budding young elder that I get dunked (I didn't like water as it was - couldn't swim). When I came up relieved out the water he insisted that when my head went into the water my Little Toe came up the other side So under I had to go again - to satisfy the desires of this insatiable Baptism Fascist When I came up the second time, would you believe it, my Little Toe came up again and the Baptism Fascist was getting everyone ready for another go But then reason dawned and the older elder actually doing the dunking insisted that enough was enough. He put the young elder in his place

  People in the congregation said my baptism was not valid because of my Little Toe. Some even said it showed that Jehovah did not want me to be baptised.

  That Baptism Fascist is now apostate, by the way, but I won't forget him because of my Little Toe

  i heard from my bethel contact that the magazines are to be published monthly from 2006 and 2007. only 12 mags a year, but 46 pages each with no colour illustrations.has anyone else heard about this cut back?

  i also heard there is to be a new song book in the summer so that witnesses no longer sing about "sheep and goats" and other "old light".

  I virtually am an apostate. I just wish I wasn't. I wish it was all true what Jehovah's Witnesses believe, but I can't believe it anymore. It is all your fault here on the forum. I have been reading your stuff to long. My mind has been poisoned.

  I used to go on the ministry with an older sister with little sense of timing. On a landing in a flat she used to knock all the doors at once... and then leave me to talk to the householders.

  How long since you been out in service?

  it must be about 13 years since i went out in service.

  about 15 years since i went out a couple times a month, and about 18 years since i went at least once a week.. i just can't imagine going from door to door anymore.

  but to think that we all did it for quite awhile.
