People should just be a bit more careful about what they claim. If people are going to insist stuff like that Bethel monitors this site, then they should have some evidence to back up that claim.

Is that not reasonable.

I think apostates in general go way over the top. You only need to read "Thirty Years a Watchtower Slave" to see the kind of nonsense an unfettered conspiracy theorist apostate can come up with.

Penton's recent book in Jehovah's Witnesses and the Third Reich is another case in point.

I am no Watchtower apologist, but sometimes apostates just need to get a grip!!!

i am extremely skeptical about this, yet people on this forum seem to talk about it as though it were a fact.

so has anyone got any actual concrete proof?

It is not up to me to prove that you are wrong (sheeesh). It is up to the person who makes the claim to offer the PROOF for the claim.

I hope you guys never end up in court! By your logic you would have to prove to the Jury that you are innocent!!!

Study conductor claims the "WTS is not the FDS"...and other JW affirmations

i am currently following the ongoing saga of a person who is studying to be a jw and her unbelieving husband's attempts to sway her in this endeavor.

he has gotten her to read cofc and she's halfway through it, but nonetheless, she remains bound to the jws and wants to continue her persuit.

he has tried to call into question that the wts could have been appointed by jesus as the "faithful, discreet slave", but the person she is studying with flat out told her that jws do not believe that jesus chose the wts as the fds and, that they don't believe that they are the one chosen religion/church.

But there is still not any proof, even if someone in Bethel did visit the site (is that wtbts ID is from Bethel), that they were authorised to do so!!!

I am not defending the wbts. I am just pointing out that everyoine is believing something for which there is NO PROOF. Does that not remind you of something - believing something when there is no proof???

I don't believe much I read here, that's for sure.

Because here people make claims for which there is NO PROOF!!!
