A witness friend of mine (haven't seen her in years) used to do that. She would have 'dry' months just to prove to herself that she didn't have a drinking problem. One time she decided to go for several months.
It made her happy.
Me? I can pretty much take or leave alcohol. If I'm going to drink, I usually plan a couple days in advance. Kind of like a celebratory meal. An evening of drinks is not something that 'just happens' with me.
Sometimes I'm pretty boring....

I won't shave my body hair, so there!
by crankytoe inmost of the women i've dated never seemed to have a problem with my body hair.
but every now and then i run into a girl who seems both amazed and disgusted by it.
it's happened often enough now - so i'm wondering if all women are turned off to varying degrees?.

Oh! I think I dated that guy a few years ago.
The shoulder hair was a turn off.
But not as big a turn off as learning he was also married at the time.

I hope they read it. If they do, they will be forced to face the insanity of the organnization.
Thank you for sharing.

Do any white people live in New Orleans?
by sonnyboy ini've never been there myself, but every single person being shown on the news is black.
wading through the streets, stranded on rooftops, etc.
i'm not sure if the media is just focusing on certain areas of new orleans or if it's a predominantly african american city.. the only footage i've seen other than this has been mardi gras and that consists mostly of tourists.

**I bet some people stayed because they didn't want anyone looting their property.**
I have a customer in New Orleans. He's been throught so many hurricanes in his life that he is the one on the block that usually stays home and rides out the storm.
Last year he almost evacuated but ended up staying put.
I cannot contact him. Wonder if he decided to leave this time?????
