You could write a letter and post it here (or not). I doubt the elders would actually read it if you handed them a multi-page letter. And like several others have noted, it might come back to haunt you.

I am not aware of any WTS guideline for 'who gets the literature' when someone dies. I think it was more likely that his ministry partner felt that you would not value the material the same way he would.

The Bible says that God doesn't forget the work we've done on his behalf. Well I am sure God will forget any good that I did. I don't believe God wants a loser. I am spiritually ill in need of comfort and yet I can't find solace and I sure as hell am not ever ever going to step my feet in a KH ever ever again. I will die first.

Wow. I know this feeling. But I had a different take on it.
I said a honest prayer to Jehovah when I left my last meeting. I cannot participate in this madness any longer. I cannot sit inside a KH and condone what I'm seeing and hearing. I don't know what I'll do but Jehovah, you know my heart. You know better than I do why I must leave.
At the time I believed that he saw my deep sincerity. The sacrifices I made for love of my God. Not for a pay-off in the New System. I believed that, like a child who does wrong but believes in his heart that he was doing something really special for mommy, Jehovah would understand and re-educate me. Or them. Eventually.
I don't think I believe in the same god anymore. I consider myself more of an agnostic. But I do understand the feelings behind your words. I'm glad you shared that.

He'd been around forever.
People we would meet in service remembered him from the early, early years. (and not in a nice way!) He made some serious enemies in that area. Bergenfield was a hotbed of persecution for the witnesses in the 20's - 40's. I think Chris probably instigated quite a lot of it. LOL.

I don't know how old you are. Still living at home makes a big difference.
I was in my 30's when I finally cut ties with mom. Until then I worked to make peace as best I could. Still dated a few worldly guys but was more discreet.

i guess spiritual armor doesn't do much when it's your mom and not satan going on the offensive.

I had a freak-out mom too. I wish I had some good advise for you. I'm sure someone here will.
I went as far as paying someone (a therapist) $90 an hour so I could talk to my mom. She sat there like a spoiled child and wasted alot of time and money. Eventually, I needed to just let her know that I was grown up and an individual. I will make decisions in my own life and respect her right to do the same.
I feel for you. What a crazy, over-reactive response. And how helpless you must have felt while she was 'whigging out'.

our daughter was born yesterday.
mrs thirdson and baby firstdaughter are doing fine.. i haven't posted much in the past year.
i've been rather busy and life is going to get even more hectic.. 3rd (aka proud dad).
