by JustTickledPink ini saw another bush '04 bumper sticker today and it got me thinking about bumper stickers!!!.
you know that jws go door-to-door but how many people do they really reach?
we drive tons of cars and could reach people every day with a simple message and a link to a website like this.

You can't put Dubs though, it has to make a statement to the "worldly" people who might not know how crazy they are. It has to send a message, just like their stupid tracts do.
Of course you don't want to flame them or else it could have the reverse effect and actually drive people into loyalty to the organization who are teeetering on the edge. You know like 9/11 banded all New yorkers together and really united americans, rather than tore them apart.

end of time
by sugarbritches inhi although none us know- how many of you think that we are really living in the last days as the jw's and many other religions believe?sugarbritches

Not me. I think almost every generation believes it's going to be the last. Even Jesus apostles thought they were living at the "end." What's the point? I'm not going to live my life any different even if it was.

What's Everyone's Favorite JW "Urban Legend?"
by Jaypeeto inmy personal favorite, popular in my area in 1982, was the story that little plastic "smurf" dolls were biting the ankles of hapless witness moms who had bought the demonic toys for their little children.
does everyone have a favorite laugh-out-loud jw urban legend?
please share!.

I love miami beach, was just down there in Oct with my sister. She wanted to do the touristy south beach thing. I don't think it's the same though, I remember 10 years ago it being so much fun, so many young hip people, the model scene. South Beach now reminded me of some thugish MTX video, too many cars just driving slowly showing off their rims and booming stereos.

You know that JWs go door-to-door but how many people do they really reach? We drive tons of cars and could reach people every day with a simple message and a link to a website like this. I am sure that bumper stickers (good quality ones) can be mass produced for something as cheap as $1 each. I am going to look into it, maybe there would be a company that could make them. I just think if everyone of us put one on our cars and gave to select family and friends, we could actually be doing something good. Of course Simon would have to decide on having the website address on them, but you get the idea.
Any ideas on what to put on them? I'm not that good with slogans.
"Pro-family, Pro-Freedom, Anti-Jehovah Witness, Anti-Watchtower"
"If you want to live forever in denial and misery, become a Jehovahs Witness"

That last line about what excuse can you come up with for NOT recognizing them as the chosen ones, puts all the blame on the reader as if they are at fault if they don't think the WTS is God's chosen nation.

Where the hell is that?
I know North Carolina a bit, and have never heard of that town. I think if you want to move someplace you better fly overe here, and check out places yourself. Maybe find a job first and then come over and check out the town.

Someone did a thread just like this about a month ago and I think it got to be about 4 pages long. Try the search function.
BTW - what part of FL are you in? I'm central FL on the east coast.

Ooops..Oh Harry..Not A Good Move.
by Englishman inprince harry, number 2 in-line to the the throne, has dropped a bit of a bollock: .
probably not the best way for a prince to go to a fancy dress party... good grief!

I didn't mean that I liked his costume choice, but I like his attitude, he doesn't seem to be a follower or a people pleaser all the time. He is his own person. That is what I like.
And as for costume parties, can't you dress up like ANYTHING you want? Or do you always have to be politically correct? If someone invited me to a Halloween party and said all costumes had to be PC, I'd so no thank you.

I like him because he's rebellious! He can't be controlled, that can be a very good thing.
