say trump for trudeau, trudeau for trump, trump in exchange for your respective european country, etc -- for a few years?

It is possible to leave and not be shunned, many of us have done it.
It takes a sloooooow fade and guarded speech in the company of dubs.
In the U K the elders are so non caring that they leave you alone and r and f members only shun if they hear an announcement .

That was an excellent article linked by Sweetyj in the o/p. It explains very clearly the use of ancient language and the fact that a word's original meaning is not necessarily the correct understanding. E.g. an obvious example would be if I were to write that, I was feeling gay today, just a few years ago it would have meant that I was happy and lighthearted........... but you all know how you would understand it today....

That is the pre convention trailer..... if our friend wanted the actual sessions, I don't know. I couldn't get them in English. Only available through JW Stream with an access code that is fiercely guarded by elders.

I was a young man then, I recall stirring WT studies based on Habakukk foretelling hardships and persecution soon............
I hid a Bible carefully in our then house, for the hard times ahead when lit. Would surely be confiscated. I wonder if it is still there?

This whole fractions thing muddied the water for me long before I quit.
They forbid blood, red cells , white cells , plasma and platelets .... but allow any "" smaller" fractions.
Where did that come from? The Governing Body, that's who. Admittedly imperfect human men.
Witnesses give their lives for the rule of men, not the rule of God.

two days ago, i received a response from them.

Debates about 587/607 have been going on longer than I can remember and both sides are still entrenched in their views. All I know is that such dates are debatable , to say the least, and no basis for Christian faith or hopes for an imminent New World.
Anyway it is good to see Doug Mason back, and Scholar too, this board has missed your level of discussions.

Oh come on....... you have to see this for what it is, an AMATEUR production by a local congo.
They have a sense of humour at least. I am sure they fell about laughing when it was played. I thought it was funny.
The worst videos are the monthly official " Big Brother" broadcasts.... Yuk!
