I too like this show, caught one last week where he was helping "mushroom farmers"! Spreading s**t for a living YUCK!!! and I just saw one where he was sewer cleaning where he had to do the trash out of the drain pipes off of city streets.

I'm a nervous wreck! (rant)

first they told me that my mother was in a persistent vegetative state, and that we (the family) should cut off her oxygen and feeding tubes.

i told them that it was too soon to be saying that or making this diagnosis.

they had my family believing this.

MrsMcD; sorry just saw this! Wonderful news to hear your mom has done remarkably well with her surgery and is now recovering. Now you`re next, right?! Both of you are still in my thoughts and prayers today.

all to often, my mind drifts to my mixed feelings for my mother.

the deep love that burned in my heart for the woman who had given me life.. the suicidal remorse i felt for bringing such guilt and reproach on her good name.. the blinding anger i felt for her never questioning her beliefs, but always questioning her son.. and so i'm left with a vacuous emotional chamber for a large element that is missing from my soul.. and when you've lost your most valuable possesion, everything else is gravy on an empty plate - pointless.. and so i hurt too, and i love my mom, but does she love me?

the unanswered question haunts my mind.. we recieve, we give, and sometimes, we just plain screw up.

I cried too! such wonderful advice from everyone, that`s why I love this place.

Hang in there Richie, you`re a great son. I like the suggestion of sending her a card & flowers out of the blue, this is a beautiful gesture for any mother JW or not.

I came home to find my wife crying over THAT article.

i came home today to find my wife crying whilst reading the 'when a loved one leaves jehovah' article.

its been a good few months now and i can appreciate how she feels.

but it just irritates me how my disagreeing with this religion has such a catastrophic effect on our everyday lives.

positive thoughts for you jambon1, this isn`t easy to deal with in "the daily reality of life" type of thing with a mate still a believer. Where do these group of cultish people get off just automatically thinking cause you leave and stop believing in what they preach, tell you "that you`re no longer a believer in God"??? Cause they say so?!!! Grrrrrr! That really ticked me of when my mom said this to me!

I believe in a God.

i was tempted into buying a bag of mini cinnamon sugar donuts.

so tasty, yet so bad for you.

but then i got to pondering (okay, okay i was trying to rationalize with my brain that *yes* i should eat them ;p ) .

spoke with prophecor - arthur, this afternoon and he wanted me to let everyone know that he is fine.

he hasn't been on jwd due to his lack of an internet connection.

It has been rather quiet here without him! Tell him "hurry back when he can"! We do miss him and his smartness damselfly I agree with what you said, Art was one of the first to welcome me too.
