JW table at small airport

as i was returning home yesterday, i noticed an elderly lady sitting at a card table next to the security line.

immidiately, her "my book of bible stories" jumped out at me.

her table was covered with printed propaganda.

Living Church of God & the Watchtower

i?m sure most of you have seen some coverage about the murder/suicide by a member of the evangelical church called the living church of god.

the church was founded in the mid-1990?s when it split from herbert w. armstrong?s worldwide church of god.

the living church observes the sabbath on saturday along with other old testament rituals.

:The news was just on and one of the followers of this religion said,,It was a horrible tragedy but these are things that are to come before the end and maybe this is Gods way of spreading our beliefs and getting the word out.

God I hate these crazy "last day's" bullshit sects. If these morons would do a little research they would see how much better off they are living now than practically ANY other time in human history.

:My suggestion to you is to seek cognitive behavioral therapy - you examine your core beliefs and learn how you have been affected by them and how to move forward. Reading up on religious addiction and spiritual abuse may help you too.

Slim, seriously, that is great advice man.

You must be reading the censored JW version of COC my friend. He wrote a resignation letter that was shown IN THE BOOK. He was never 'pushed out', he was on his way out because of all the heinous bullshit that the body was up to.

No offence slim but if you have already read those books and you still are asking those questions you must have fallen on your head dude. What would you like us to say to you. You have all the proof imaginable to show the Watchtower isnt spirit directed. You should probably start going back to meetings.
