Disposable People

since my mom decided she needed to put full shunning back into effect again (an unconscious new year's resolution to be a better jw?

), i've been ransacked by a whole bunch of emotions which have been gradually resolving into thoughts.

the sense of being completely disposable, expendable, replaceable.

MY PARENTS WANT TO CELEBRATE THEIR BIRTHDAY!

i've decided my parents are way cool...........both of them are still in the borg, but my father is turning 70 years old next month and he wants to celebrate his birthday!

i was stunned when he said that and am already making plans.

plus (here's another shocker), my sister is also turning 40 next month and my mother said last night that we should take her out for her birthday seeing as she's turning the big 4-0!

I left them because I became entirely certain that there is no Christian god, I DA'ed because of the blood and shunning policies.

just wondered as im prob about to give up so much, coz i dont think it is the truth but its come as such a shock!.

my family believe it so much, my dad feels he can answer any question i have, and being brought up in it sometimes it scares me.

Do your research Cordillia. Be strong. Don't let those programmed monkey's manhandle you into thinking they have anything anywhere fucking near "truth".

The organization is full of people who are pushovers. Don't add to that destructive cult by being so easily manipulated. You have a chance to do the right thing.

JW ghost, demon, superstition stories

i would like to write an article outlining some of the goofy stories that jws believe.

for example, when i was young, this story went around: .

a couple decided that they would miss the meeting to go to see a hypnotist.

My favorite is the story of the little girl who took her smurf doll to a Sunday afternoon meeting. Supposedly the smurfs expression would change from placid to exasperated every time the speaker said the word "Jehovah". Finally he couldn't take it anymore, jumped up and ran out of the Kingdom Hall.

My question was always, "How could he turn the doorknob since he was only four inches tall?"
