has anyone read this article in the september 1, 2006 watchtower?
i can't understand why the rank and file can't see who is really causing the pain by seperating loved ones over personal beliefs.. one woman says about her disfellowshipped brother, "this has been so hard for me to bear because in every other respect, he has been a wonderful brother to me.
i especially miss him at large gatherings.".
I wonder how my dad will react to the article since my mom and myself have both disassociated. I've tried to get through to him directly and passively (changing my msn messenger name to "Booze Rutherford"... hehe) but so far nothing has worked. His insistence on trudging along with the Watchtower is ruining my moms life. This brainwash piece could strenghthen his resolve.

I found the majority of the Witnesses really bland. The goals were stupid. The opinions were silly. The only passion they had for anything was forced Watchtower interests. I just started to think of them all as dead people.

i'd have to go with these 3 games (they're all pretty good games, it's just that the noted issues i had really put me off): .
metroid prime - too much backtracking, really dull, lifeless world, and a real lack of innovation.
ninja gaiden - too much trial and error gameplay, a broken save system (saving anywhere should be an option), and derivative .
I completely agree, gamefreak136. Jehovah's Witnesses are a destructive, beastly cult.

today i was at burlington baby depot registering for my baby shower, stolling up and down the aisles and scanning.
low and behold, down the aisle comes a dub.
as soon as she set eyes on me, she backed out of the aisles as fast as she could, as if i was throwing poop at her.
:One time, when I was still an active JW, I went through the check out line of a DF person, and they PUPOSEFULLY left a sensor on an item and then laughed their arse off when I beeped and had to get searched by the security.

think about this: if seven times mean only 7 years then daniel could have simply said 7 years.
why does daniel specifically use the word 'times' rather than years?
as we have already shown daniel used the word for 7 times instead of 7 years.

i've noticed that there are certain songs, movies, memories, etc that make me sad.
there is even a category of music we call "sad songs".
it seems obvious that we would never listen to something that makes us sad.
Like one of the other posters said, I think it's just part of being human. When the lyrics in a song hit home with how you feel inside sometimes, even if its a terrible feeling, it can be pretty moving.
