I read through this thread and it seems a lot of posters here are convinced Trump will win and if he doesn't it is due to something unfair. I just went to RealClearPolitics, BBC and 538 and looking at the latest polls Biden is up against Trump by more than Clinton was nationally and in most swingstates.
So a question to posters - do the polls miss the shy Trump voters or are the polls selected by these sites misleading? Or something else?
Is there a polling site or company that people trust?

I searched the Twitter archives for all current and deleted AOC posts and then checked Snopes. If someone else has it as originally posted or deleted it would be good to get the actual view rather than a screenshot (shared in earlier post) which is all I've ever seen of that tweet.

The AOC tweet is fake. It took only a couplei minutes to fact check it. Anony Mous you make great posts with valid points but the fake stuff isn't needed

Blue states will be blue and red states will be red......and my wife will continue zooming for meetings and association and expect the imminent death of her husband and children. The more things change the more they stay the same
so what the heck are they brainwashing today in the meeting or what ever.
she is in full on cult mode talking about the end of the world.
she asked me to listen to a couple of talks and i respectfully declined.
I can vouch that the covid issue has raised the armageddon alarms around my area. My wife is fully convinced that between riots, covid and the election that the end is here.
What I have seen is that once these issues pass us by and things return to relatively normal she will be disappointed that we didn't all die at armageddon and she'll be moody for a couple weeks. Then the next crisis will occur and the end will be close yet again. over and over and over and over

is it me who thinks this.......jw pimi or pomi women lack natural affection toward there children, family and human's.. it must be the indoctrination that strips these emotions.
i see it in my wife all the time, when she talks with non jw people she is like "meh" i got to talk with you.. when she talks with jw people, she has a cult emotion like "yes my people" .

i am pimo, but now have 40+ years of being a jw as i was raised in a 3rd generation family of witnesses and continue to fake my way through things - fading as i can.. for the vast majority of my time as a jw, the meetings were the central focus for all jws to get teaching, association, information and so on.
nothing was more important than being at the meetings!
over the last 20 years starting with the elimination of the weekly book study in homes and continuing down to today - my opinion is that the value/purpose of the weekly meetings continues to be diluted or minimized.
I've heard a number of witnesses in my wife's hall talk about how they can't wait to start meeting in person at the KH again.
my wife is getting regular emails from the cobe ... you know we have the truth, the world is in the dark, we're special, hang in there, read this encouraging watchtower ... blah blah blah ... just wondering if these are coordinated from org.. recent mass email example .... " .... an excellent watchtower article in the july 2020. it is entitled “be convinced that you have the truth”.
the scripture is from 2 tim 3:14. we are to continue in the things we have learned and be persuaded to believe.
reflect for a moment what appealed to you about the truth which drew you to jehovah.
Not seen it with my wife yet. Perhaps a text or two but that's about it.
the reason that i ask is, in the two years on this forum and you tube, i've seen ex-jw's either drop off entirely or make fewer and fewer videos.
i know the emotional toll can be high.
is that the sole reason, or is it cost (video) or do you think it's external pressure (legal or family)?
I also feel that for many the videos and forum discussions are a form of healing and that as the healing occurs their involvement goes down. That isn't true for everyone but maybe that's what you're seeing?
