Sounds great The Rebel. I envy the upbringing for your son.

Not too my son...
by The Rebel inwill i say " orlando, your hair is too long, and needs to be cut short" and never will i say " orlando, invites to birthday parties can't be accepted".
and i will buy my son books he wants to read, books that bring him happiness, and that he understands.
and by so doing, i hope he will acquire happy memories of his childhood, so that the sensitive and delicate, in him will be allowed to grow.

LivingSocial SurvivalKit: For 1 or 2? And that is the question!
by oppostate injust following the "worst-district-convention-ever" there's a lot of frightened jw's worriedly and eagerly excited about the "great tribulationnnnn-tam-tam-tammmmm" starting.
it's the talk of the town in jw land.. today, my wife is off to the sunday meeting and an after-spiritual-banquet-get-together for the speaker.
i'm staying home for this one.

You know the answer Oppostate - for 2 but that 2 doesn't include you - it's for a potential bible study :)

Nice to meet you samj. I faded very slowly and it was soooo painful. After a while I just couldn't stand being at the meetings and hearing the crap they spewed from the audience and platform.
I wish you the best of hanging around the dubs but being mentally free.

Bunker Video Sparks Family Drama!
by Wasanelder Once ini guess you are guaranteed to survive the "great tribulation" if you don't be a "kevin".
my family members are doubling down on their fervor about meeting attendance.
they are having an effect on some of my wishy washy long time inactive family.

Thanks Blondie. I wonder how a Go Bag for natural disasters differs from a 'Geddon Bag or Bunker Bag. Just something else for those witness website to sell to my wife.

I don't get the bunker mentality. Did the dubs in the video really think their secret knock was a protection? As if the knock was wrong that the door wouldn't be kicked in? Did they have supplies down there? Toilets?
Didn't they think the neighbors would find it unusual that they have all these people coming in to visit and they never leave? did they all walk to the bunker house or drive cars and take up all the guest parking spots?
Perhaps the dubs need to start putting together Bunker Bags with food, water, toiletries and an anti kevin t-shirt.

by BlackWolf inwell i just got back from 3 days in hell, and geez was this convention strange or what?
im sure someone's probably made a topic about this already but i can't believe that there weren't any new releases besides the movies.
has that ever happened before?

My wife's convention is coming up. Should be interesting to see the Armageddon fear kick into high gear. It will probably make my life hell for a while before it all calms down again.

Jehovah's Witness juror - The actions of this juror are a complete disgrace, said Prince Georges County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks.

juror email leads to mistrial.
that juror now faces a possible contempt of court charge.the trial of a man involved in a high speed crash that killed a prince george's county police officer last year ended in a mistrial.. one of the jurors told the judge via email thursday morning that judging others was a violation of her religion as a jehovah's witness, news4's prince george's county bureau chief tracee wilkins reported.. kevon darnell neal, 23, was charged with vehicular manslaughter and fleeing and eluding following the death of officer adrian morris, 23.. morris and his partner were pursuing a stolen silver acura when their cruiser ran off interstate 95 near the powder mill road exit in august 2012. morris died after being ejected from the vehicle.

I was always raised that serving on a jury was a conscience matter and perfectly acceptable if you chose to do it. The only exception being a case where the death penalty would be a possibility.
My still a witness wife has done jury duty and enjoyed it.
