  well my fellow compatriots, since i haven't posted any topics lately of an interesting or fascinating nature (and probably never have in the past either); i just thought you might all like to know that yesterday i took the plunge and put a closure on my 4 decades of being one of them there jw's.

  you guessed it...i went and got myself a tattoo!

  just needed to share this important moment in history.

  as i am interested in ancient places in england, stone circles are great places to visit, you feel very at one with nature whilst spending time just taking in the ambience of the place.

  i try to imagine what happened at this very spot thousands of years ago.

  so it?s very sad that rollright stones have been vadalised.

  another telly(tv) program for uk ers to watch this one deals with the terrible massacre in rwanda ten years ago.. for those of you who are interested have a look at the bbc web sites just follow the links.. after reading some of these stories i find it hard to understand how anyone could carry out such cold blooded killings, but it happened for reasons that perhaps we can not grasp.. altogether, about 1 million people were murdered in rwanda in just one hundred days.

  (400 witnesses were killed (*** g94 12/22 p. 12 caring for victims of rwanda?s tragedy ***)).

  i feel really sad for all those that died (not just jws) and also those who lost family and saw the massacre first hand, what trauma to have to carry every day?.

  i don't know what eles to call it , i guess it is the user name....lol.......so what does yours mean?.

  i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.

  there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.

  george benson is now on bbc radio five live he just answered a question from a listener he said ?he was a associated with jehovah?s witnesses and goes door knocking, and finds it quiet interesting?, they then moved on to his new album.

  It was on in the background while I was working, but here is the gist of some extracts that caught my attention

  One caller talked about the time he was persuaded to make love to his girlfriend for the first time, one of George?s songs was playing; think it was ?Feel Like Making Love?, or maybe another one of his great love songs. Not much of a comment from George!!!!

  Another caller ask for a recommended song to play whilst with is girlfriend tonight!!! (think the caller wanted to score).

  It was a good to listen to him on the Radio. It must be hard to be famous and an active Jehovah?s Witness? He sounds like a really nice bloke.
