  So said the Watchtower July 15 2005pages 8,9,! This article is about “Single and Contented in Jehovah’s service”.
  
  The quote (“We don’t even want to be in the company of unbelieving men or women.”) is reinforced by the WTs words: “Such Christians are to be commended for applying Bible counsel and maintaining high moral standards so as to please Jehovah despite any emotional distress they may experience.”
  
  Granted this article is about singleness, but notice how clever (cultish) the WT is, on even having “worldly” friends… its wrong. Now I’m out of this religion and being shunned by many so called friends (I’m not DFd or DAd yet, fading slowly) I now am getting to know and understand how wicked and wrong this cult is, It’s so controlling for It’s members.
  
  I showed this article to my “worldly girlfriend, and you know what? It made her so angry that good people are so controlled by a religion, she had not fully understood about the feelings (hammered into my mind for decades), and control the WT had on me (and still does to some extent).
  
  I feel so sorry for the lonely (single) people who are still trapped by this religion, with it’s false promises, and controlling hold it’s on people.

  ?According to Mexico city?s justice department,?1 in every 8 girls and 1 in every 10 boys are victims of sexual abuse in Mexico city, ?reports EL Universal newspaper. The justice department is distributing pamphlets that warn parents about sexual abuse and recommend the course of action that should be taken in the event of actual abuse. The recommendations include the following: (1) Believe and support your child when he or she is being sexually abused. (2) explain to the child that he or she is not responsible for what happened. (3) Inform the child that what happened is against the law and that it is necessary to report it to the police so that it will not happen again.?

  So they (WTS) use a Mexican newspaper to correct years of ill-information and procedures to tell the brothers and sisters what should be done when child abuse happens. Of course the WTS always have given out the correct procedures of what to do with child abuse reports!

  well my fellow compatriots, since i haven't posted any topics lately of an interesting or fascinating nature (and probably never have in the past either); i just thought you might all like to know that yesterday i took the plunge and put a closure on my 4 decades of being one of them there jw's.

  you guessed it...i went and got myself a tattoo!

  just needed to share this important moment in history.

  Great stunt, hope he gets off lightly, these guy have not seen there children in ages, the law needs changeing, too many children are being seperated from fathers.
