yeah because the lord won't help people unless a bunch of other people beg him to.
why not sacrifice a goat while you're at it just to be safe.

Natural occurances are automactically going to turn me towards your God? Are you serious? I don't even know what you believe in and I have a choice between thousands of God's to choose from. You're arrogance is sickening sir.

Very Bad Apologetics For Honest Seekers
by AlanF ingod had no beginning, so god did not need to be made.. .
if our local space-time universe is uncreated, then of course it is meaningless to ask who created it.
of course, everything that had a beginning had a beginner.

I am essentially agnostic myself, the contemporary view of agnostic not the pure definition of the word. Mainly I'm not interested in religion at all, but it is ignorant to say there is no God just as much as I can say there is no Santa. But I'm open for suggestions, would actually be interesting to live a rational religious lifestyle if there was something besides emotion pulling us towards it.

Wow you totally missed like, everything. First I didn't say I was more rational, and basically it isn't my opinion that the reason and rational we use is better than God. God in the bible (or many other mystical transcripts) has a vengeful, many times blind destructive attitude. This, by simple congenial reasoning is irrational.
And I feel that many people's opinions about other individuals on these boards are mostly internal. The opposing individual is usually never as evil or as good as you think they are. And having preconceived notions about some form of group only extends this uninformative view on other people.
Btw, me personally I like poking fun at the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, and other mental creations that have no bases in reality besides vague instances that could apply to a teacup king to underground gnomes. If your God or any other one falls under these stereotypes, well sorry but until there's something besides books and words behind something I'll dismiss it as free game. -

"Well, Irongland, I will also tell you what I have told the people of Louisiana and Florida. "Some people just don't believe until it's in their " face." We will see if I'm a liar in your case and others who persist in their unbelief. And when it happens, you will remember what I wrote."
Just seems like God would be able to think a little more rationally than us lowly humans, and not resemble a member of a gang. -

Ok after reading your last post directed to Kid-A it is obvious that you are incapable of providing anything but insults and slander to support your claims. No more from me.

Scholar said,
No, the account of Genesis combines theology, philosophy and science as a perfect synthesis recognizing micro evolution with in kinds to account for the upward progression of athe natural order. Science and religion have always coexisted together throughout history right up to the present day despite the hysteria of Darwinism. Such a synthesis or perennial philosophy properly accounts for the chaos and disorder in the world as a consequence of sin.
Intelligent Design has yet to produce any findings for itself, the main goal of ID is that it's pointing out the missing steps of evolution and applying the possibility of an Intelligent Designer to it. I would like to see some of your reasons why you think scientists are shaking in their boots about ID. I have yet to see any of this. -

Alan refuted Scholars post pretty well but I just wanted to add that I have yet to see anything damning to evolution let alone scientific, even on major Intelligent Design support sites. And I would like to add that most proponents of ID do not look for the genesis account as scientific (Yet they do follow it still). Their aim is to teach this in school and if there is any mention of the Judeo-Christian God and not just Intelligent Designer, then they won't get their prize. You're assumption that ID is backing you is flawed, and the only individuals that put some mathematical and scientific findings for ID have all been proven terribly wrong. If you want I can show you some examples if you want to take this conversation seriously.

Cross or a Stake - which was it?
by KAYTEE inwe were always lead to believe, when we belonged to the jws, that jesus died on a "stake".
was this really true or did he die on a cross as all other religions appear to believe.
if it was a cross, what on earth did the jws get out of saying otherwise.

scholar Your gross assumptions are just more evidence to the people that see you write in this forum that you are heavily biased and plainly full of crap. I have yet to see you post anything with any substance rather than outlandish claims that you neither back up nor express in a dignified manner. This is much of the same things that proves the Watchtower's dishonesty. I have read so many times, "One famous physicists said," or "A West Europe magazine said". This bibliographical dishonesty is a testament to the watchtower’s dishonesty. And stop with the insults, it isn’t becoming of a human being, let alone a true Christian.
