  i hope this has not been a topic lately.... it was christmas day...and i had went to visit some non-jw relatives i was 15 yrs old...and a group of other kids from the neighborhood had all got together on the block, it was snowing and the snow was so fluffy and pretty, so we all started walking down the street singing x-mas songs (we had sipped some spiked egg nog) everyone exchanged little gifts.

  we went to different houses visiting and eating.

  toward the end of the night we went to my sister's friend house and danced till around 2:00 in the morning..." for the first time in my life i felt free and happy.

  Roller skating with my best friend at about age 9 or so. "Xanadu" was in and I had to be Olivia Newton John. We took her moms sheets, new, and cut holes in them to make isrealite outfits all the while playing football and going back to our home, the tree. Just imagine a bunch of scrawny kids on wheels with ornate costumes, playing football! Now that was fun!!

  FMZ!!! That is so sweet! She is very pretty. Looks like someone I would have as a friend.. I have to meet her. Bring her next fest...When I am not sick and actually get to go!

  TIME WILL TELL (Did you fake your hours in Field Service?)

  i know for certain that brothers in our congregation often lied about their time on field service reports.

  (yes, we had to fill out quota reports back in the old days).

  one brother, harry, would dump magazines in the storm drains!

  dropping mags off at the laundromat to start my time...all the stuff I'd looked at as padding before.

  I had forgotten that. Oh and I had ROBO mom Witness.. She would get us up to be out at 5AM to go witness at the inner city bus station...Yeah Buddy! How unsafe is that?

  so does anyone like to collect things, such as stamps, or figurines, cards, pottery or whatever?

  i am a person who is a little pack rat, and i must admitt i have some cool collections, such as a my 1920 royal doulton minature toby's and waterford crystal wine glassses.

  i have alot of pottery and earthenware that i also enjoy.
