  Don't worry tho' if you put my name in, a bunch of dutch gay porn sites pop up. So who knows what all coincidences we can pass off as being other things. Just tell them it is some other 6' 7" guy from New Orleans. lol. "Lucy, I say you have some explaining to do! " lol

  Really though, hopefully you are not 6' 7' and really 5' 2' and a flaming red head and completely opposite of all the online profiles that pulled up so that there is no confusion. That way there is not too much flack. But I bet with them already surfing this site....they really don't care anyway. Right?

  bigdreaux~so your saying your sister inlaw becky confronted you today and called you an apostate. Just like that? She said she used a searched engine and 'espically google' and came up with JWD and here you were. Did she tell the elders? Or is she going to stay and lurk for a bit? Was she mad? Upset? How did you handle it when she told you? Did she tell your wife also? So the whole family will be here soon...drew, anna and becky. Who is next? Dang!

  Just finished seeing Michael Moore's SiCKO

  i just got home from bellaire, mi where the first us premiere screeing of sicko took place.

  mm has shown the film to a few private groups, but he specifically said that we were the first "paying group" to see it.

  there were two showings - i got to see the first showing at 1:00.. first let me say that this film is not political in any way.

  I would have liked to have learned more about what other countries (i.e. Canada, UK, France) pay in taxes to cover the cost of the universal healthcare. Or what the Americans that lived in France -- what their income is. I would have also like to see more statistics about poverty and homeless individuals in those countries -- just to put it into perspective for me.

  All interesting questions, but I do think that MM gave the most important perspective in his 113 minute film, which I would summarize as:

  A) if "they" can do it (especially a tiny, embargoed nation like Cuba), we can do it.

  B) It's the right thing to do, beyond dispute.

  C) Doing the right thing actually cost less, much less, on a per capita basis.

  D) How cool is it to see Doctors in action who are primarily focused on your particular health problem and solving it, not pressures from HMO executives or drug companies.

  E) It's the right thing to do, beyond dispute.

  Long time members, how do you cope with so much tragedy on this forum?

  i have only been here for six months and i can see why so many people have to leave or at least take breaks from this forum.. what are you doing to cope?

  i want to stay, please help.

  Oh Juni, I can tell I made no damn sense at all. Actually I am on top of the world. What I was trying to say was that it is good when we all pull together and help each other when we arre low. The comradery is wonderful and the fest bring a oneness and stillness to our hearts that I truly believe is rare and must be experienced. Wehne life is hard you can come here and vent, cry, fight and get it all out and more than not, find someone who will have gone through some of the same and can support you in your times of woe. If you are looking at your situation in an unhealthy way you may get a check and recheck process you were not expecting and even though painful, it is always good.

  Now I should have possibly said naughty, but when we are naughty, we are ever so naughty and this is good too. In fact it is a bit better than the above because it is usually just plain fun. That is where the tequila comes in. For me Malibu Rum and Amaretto, but (boy I do miss tequila.) At any rate, I hope this explains it!

  Pec, I think it is because ehen we are good...we are SOOOO good, and when we are bad, we are Sooooo bad!!

  Meaning, when we are down and out, we all rush and fix what we can, argue what we can, clear up the rif raf, check ourselves, check others, question and learn. fight, struggle and learn, cry it out, type it out and get it all out there. THIS IS GOOD!!

  And when we are bad...we call in Crumpet...Misanthropic, Six, Hemp, Nina, More is Bertter, Valis, (The list goes into the 1000's) all the sexy ones.... and they bring Tequila! We get SOOOO Bad!

  So we stay for Good is good and Bad is better!
