i never did mind being shunned by jw's because i don't have any family or friends there, but being shunned by anyone you care for is cruel.. how did you cope with being shunned?.
In the beginning it hurt. People never knew the real truth about what happened. All they knew was whatever he said and whatever they could make up. And boy oh boy did they ever make it up.
So true. Then it changes the longer you are gone. This last year I have a much better handle on it. I dont shrink when I see one..JW that is. They are the ones dong a hateful thing and I refuse to lower my head.

so many of you have touched my heart by reaching out to me in this sad and lost time i am going thru.
losing my sister , in this way is what i have been so afraid of for so long.
it is unreal to watch the past repeat itself and to feel helpless after all is said and done , although i know i did all i could.
dede- I have only heard good things of love out of Wander and you, about Ginger ..so I am so sorry to see someone who touched two obviously "real" people is gone. You have seemed to start cutting your path out and are holding tight. Keep that up. I feel for you and your loss right now. I am sad I did not get to meet her, but optimistic that someday I may meet you and Donnie! My love goes out over this line.

Andi!! Merry xmas Girl! I really get it from the gals at work hitting on me. I don't understand it, but I think it has me paranoid about being attractive to them. This last year I figure if they like me, then they do...Same as anyone. You worked at a camp? Strange, I worked at a Juvenile home for 3 to 4 years and was a house mom. When I first hired in, I was in so much trouble for not walking in line...talking when I shouldn't. In fact I was restrained in front of everyone once. I looked just like the kids, and it was truly a baptism by fire experience.
