Damn it! WTF? Last rule realy sucks. But I woke up cranky anyways. so..Outlaw seems to always be a quick wit. Makes me want to just hit myself in the own head and lay down. BUT...That would be sooo not me. I at least need to bit the buggar on the ankles a couple of times.

When he first released Maria Maria, My Daughter and Stepdaughter picked up on it right away and would have our little rodeo Rocking side to side as they belted it out. It was great to see my kids loving his music as much as I did.

Yowza~ Love it. Makes me crawl all over. Have you ever heard our own Slayerlayer sing it. We call it his panty droppersong. lol I have seen him sing it in a club and the girls go mad. LMAO. It is so damn funny. I fell in love with the song and within one hour he had learned it and was playing it for me when he lived here. OMG I can't get enough of that song. I know they play others, but I can't get past that one song to hear them.

I would love that. I cannot even imagine! You lucky dog! Now I am going to have to do some research on Gato. Maybe I already know some of him. I am terrible at knowing names. It take a good many years for names to stick with me. That is terrible I know. But ADD and remembering do not go well together. lol Carlos, he made an impact. Thus, I remember.

Oh! NVR!!! Crap! I am going to have to shave my legs again. That first note made every Hair on my body stand straight up! I love that song! I am such a Santana Fan. I guess you cannot grow up 30 minutes from Mexico and not love Santana.

Funny thing tho' is that when I go see my friends that live 2 hours out of Monterey...they have never heard of Santana. lol. Strange.

I tell you what. Santana and a good bottle of wine...some dancing shoes. and you have a night to remember! OH MY GOODNESS! This song here...Next and I am up dancing all Night!! The energy of this song is amazing! Just fabulous! I love it!

Why is that. Are they connected? I need an education here. If Gato Barbieri had something to do with Europa, I am missing something. As a child, I used to listen to my LP night after night of Europa till I wore it about out. I loved that song. I have a hard time even knowing it without all the scratches..you know? I had a chance to take my daughter to see him at Crossroads with Eric Clapton and BB King at Crossroads a couple of years back. Oh man. What a Birthday it was for me!

DIsfellowshipping without a meeting with you

hi there i have only signed up on here a couple of days ago after 8 years of being left.

i have always read the posts along the way but have never had the courage to join in till now i suppose it shows i must be moving along.

i was brought up in the truth but never ever believed it even from a young age.

myababes~Hi, Nice to meet you. I hate to say it, but yet. I can and does happen. I know that the second time I was disfellowshipped, I found out after it was announced. (That sounds pretty funny to me now) I had talked to the elders and they said they were going to call back and talk to me a week from that day. When that day came and they did not call, I called my mom to figure out what to do. She informed me she could not talk to me because it had been announced at the meeting that I was disfellowshipped. I thought to myself that that sure was odd.

I also was such a mouse and did not raise a stink and just accepted it and got angry but instead of changing anything I was doing as I had intended on doing, I threw myself into what trouble I was into more. Years later I did call and question one of the elders about it. Amazingly the story had changed. I was told something to the effect that I showed signs of not changing my course at all and no signs of repentance. The funny thing is I seem to recall being very scared the first time I spoke to them, not saying much (via telephone) and open to speaking to them again. In fact I was open to help and possibly changing my course of action. I found it very tidy how they wrapped it up and DF'ed me via long distance and did not even tell me. They did not even bother trying to help me.

Pretty much the elders can do what they want for who they want.
