I hate to tell you this but our county sheriff has told people not to bother with locking gas caps.

Woke up and found out my gas was stolen....
by FreedomFrog inkids came home from their dads this morning and zach said, "mom, did you know your gas door and cap was off?
" so i sprinted downstairs and investigated....i had just over 1/2 tank and now over night i'm down around 1/8 tank...i'll report it to the management but i don't think the police will do anything since it's not over a certain amount lost.
my car doors were locked and i don't see damage on the outside.

I hate to tell you this but our county sheriff has told people not to bother with locking gas caps. Around here, if they see that the gas cap locks, they just punch a hole in the gas tank.
Our sheriff said to park in your garage and lock it or, if you're parking on the street, park with your gas cap to the "street side" so that the thieves won't be able to hunker down on the sidewalk side, unseen by passing motorists, and steal your gas.
Well, that is a bummer cause I don't have a garage and the only place is parking spots...so not streets to direct my gas cap towards. I'm going to see if the big light that is across from us is out again. It was out for a while until most of the apartment people started complaining and they got it fixed.
I'll just start parking closer to the steps. Even though I won't be able to see my car from that angle, the lights will be on it better and may discourage theives. When I can scrape up the money, maybe I can invest in an alarm system but for now, I'll just have to hope it doesn't happen again.
I don't think I'll fill my tank up again. I'll keep it 1/4 tank or little less than 1/2 from now on. I don't drive much anyways.

Stores are selling more locking gas caps than they did previously.
Locking caps...hmmmm, that's a good idea. About how much are they? My cap is hooked with a plastic thing so the person putting gas in wont forget it...would I have to cut that off in order to put the new cap on?

I just hope it went to someone who really needed it. I'll imagine, just for the sake of things, that it was a father/mother and they needed it to go to the store to buy their baby some milk....or something.......or better yet, they are going to sell the gas to get milk for their poor baby.
This place use to be nice but since they have changed managements last year, everything is getting worse here. Only 3 more weeks and I'm in my new place!!! YAY

You're just tired, overworked and lonely. What you need is a good rest, but you have stuff to accomplish first. Hang in there, your class is almost over and you'll be so glad. Just get up, put on some loud music, do a little boogie in front of the mirror, shake your booty until you're tired. Then get back to work!!!
You're right, I am tired and overworked...I'm not as lonely as I had been and that's been nice break but I think it has a lot to do with that I'm working so much. I so need a rest though. After my final I think I will get that break because I won't have to stay up so late studying what 2x+3y < 6 or y = 2/3 x + 2 is for quite a while..then I can shake my booty...heehee

I live right in the middle...margarita sounds good...as long as I have a friend to share it with...you like darts? pool? If you're close enough, maybe we can hook up just to chat or something. I have a few friends that are on here but they are an hour or more from me and the way gas prices are I can barely get across town....can you believe $20. will only get me a 1/4 of tank???? If you live an hour or less maybe we can meet half way, that way neither one of us have to spend so much gas. That's what my ex friend (who is a devout JW) and I did.
No wonder you are feeling down. Algebra!! That is a tough one!!!! You will feel relief when that is over. I took Algebra a few semesters back. I am 56-I wanted to run away screaming before each class, but stuck with it and made a B.
Oh, I thought it was just me...I am so sickened by Algebra that I wanna go sreamin'. Did you ever go to bed trying to get rest only to have numbers and figures haunt you in your dream??? LOL I SO don't like math, I am so sick of this class, and if my professor heard me I'd get a lecture of why I should like math and why it should be fun. Only one more week...just hope I can pass my finals so I don't have to take this class over again.

Jaguarbass, I think you nailed it. I became very angry at the JW's all of the sudden this morning. I haven't been angry like this since I came out. My anger stems from not being encouraged (but rather very discouraged) from going to college and to "rely on Jehoba".
I remember my parents saying that I will probably not graduate from high school because the big A would come before then...guess what...I'm now in college with 2 kids. I regret that I didn't push the college thing...especially when I got married at a freakin early age only to get divorced when I should have been encouraged to go to college. Oh well, it is what it is.

Oh, that is so sweet of you John Doe...it's not the gift thing really...it's more of the fact I've just noticed wrinkles on my hands. I belief BB is right though, I believe I'm dehydrated and since I have to stay up so late and get up so early my body is just crying out to slow down. After this Algebra course the college won't be so tough and things can get back to being a bit easier.
This is my last week in Algebra. I'm a bit nervous because my final is this Sunday. I don't even know if we're timed. I'm hoping not because that will give me plenty of time for each question.
I guess it hit me I'm turning another year older and don't really have much to show for...though, I AM in college, I do have my beautiful children for the most part and I am finally getting close to two wonderful ladies who I believe will become my best friends in the near future. Things will change...I'm just a tad impatient...lol

Buy the ficus later as a belated present and try to have a happy birthday with your kids.
I plan on it, may have to be next month...and I will have a happy birthday with my babies because I'll make sure of it. I'm just having a little melt down right now...I'll get over it by this evening I'm sure.

I think the main thing that is affecting me is I'm that much closer to 40 without having a thing to own, or be proud of. Heck, I don't even have my first degree for this birthday. I don't have family now, I live in a very small apartment. and...did I mention I have wrinkles on my hands!!!!!!! I know 37 isn't that old..but this age is really hitting me hard because I'm seeing more signs of aging.
I'm tired, I have to stay up till 3am on most night completing homework, and get up early for other hectic life things that I'm sure is why my hands are looking more wrinkled today.
I'll be over this in a week but I'm beginning to hate when my b-day comes around.
