Interesting Experience when Being Around - Former Friends / Current Witnesses

i am not da or df, however anyone that knows me, is aware of the fact that i'm an apostate.

i help my witness dad, in his business two days a week, the business is in a public place, where witnesses often visit.. recently some witnesses, from my former congregation, have visited my dad, (not knowing, that i would be there).

yesterday a friend of my dad's came to visit my dad, and as he approached i said "hey fred, how are you?

I am not DA or DF, however anyone that Knows me, is Aware of the Fact that I'm an Apostate. I help my Witness Dad, in his Business Two Days a Week, the Business is in a Public Place, where Witnesses often visit.

Recently some Witnesses, from my Former Congregation, have visited my Dad, (Not Knowing, that I would be there). Yesterday a friend of my Dad's came to Visit my Dad, and as he Approached I Said "Hey Fred, how are you?" he was a Bit Surprised to see me, and Didn't recognize me, since I have a Beard now. I shook his Hand, and greeted he and his Daughter. Fred is someone that I've always liked and Respected,and while he did not "Shun" me as many do, there was a Thickness in the Air, as he spoke with my Dad.. It was a very awkward moment, and such an Unnatural Experience, for me. I have experienced the Feelings when being around someone that I do not like, or that does not like me, that is natural.

However being around someone, who was/is a Friend, but Is uncomfortable by my Presence, simply due to a Religious Doctrine, is Just Unnatural..It's a Very Unfortunate Experience, Indeed. The fact that anyone can make Decisions for anyone else, and enforce these Decisions is a Shame.

I can't wait until the Day that this Organization crumbles, and is Exposed for It's Blasphemous ways.

All of these friends and family who have Shunned or Judged My Wife & I, will come to us Humiliated and asking for Forgiveness.. I can't wait for the Opportunity to Forgive them, and Welcome them back as Friends, and give an Example of What it is to Treat a Fellow Human with Dignity & Respect, without Prejudice or Pride.

we also read the stories of those who got disfellowshipped or disassociated themselves.

in the majority of the cases, their parents will not talk to the children for years and the children will not talk to the parents even if they are dying.

Outlaw - I Agree.

While I don't judge those who Continue to attend meetings. Their attendance at meetings alone, makes the Statement to Friends & Family that they Agree and Support all Practices and Teachings of the Organization. Where as their absence or Discontinuation of Participating, makes the Statement, that they do not agree or Support the Organizations Policies and Teachings.

For anyone that Disagrees, Imagine a Man that wears a White Robe, and White Hat, while attending KKK rallies.. This man may reason, "I don't actually Kill any One, or Participate in the Activities, that I don't agree with" His Attendance alone, Fortifies the Group and Gives Confidence to the Other KKK Members.

This Is Especially True, if you are a Well Respected person, who is Known to Do the Right Thing or a Person who is Known to be Intelligent... People look to you as An Example, and if they Ever ask themselves 'Maybe these WT Teachings, are Wrong" They reason "Well Brother "SeemstobeaGoodJW" , Is still an Active Witness, and he is a Very Reasonable and Godly Man, it must be me, that is Wrong, since I have known him to always do the Right thing."

Lead By Example.

Disclaimer - If you have Children, or Family Members that you would surely lose, by Leaving, I don't Judge you, as I was Fortunate to not lose my Wife of family, when I left, We all must choose our Own Path.

Pretend you were still a JW, would you have secretly wanted hospitals to force a loved on to have a blood transfusion?

i'm curious, even though jws must fight and resist, how many secretly hope that their loved one is forced a blood transfusion so they can live and their conscious is cleared of having done everything possible to not have one?

or you have felt guilty and upset about it no matter what?

Nice explanation Terry,

I agree in the concept of "Light becoming Brighter" as in A topic becomes clearer, as you discover complementary facts, and have time to Meditate on the Body of Clues. This type of Gradual Understanding can take Drastic shifts also.. At times you can Discover information, that completely transforms the paradigm, and when this happens the Light moves to a completely different Path.

The Watchtower completely abuses this concept. The Watchtower's Light Got Bright at one time,when Russell was actually seeking Truth, however ever since they have been Turning the Light on and Off at will, simply to Support their Greed & Blasphemous Ways.As you mentioned, the Light cannot become bright, and then Become Dark, move to another Belief, and Return to the same Belief without any Forward Progress.

In the words of another Wise Man... "Let's Review, It's a Cult!"

1 GB member may know TTATT, however it's unlikely that they all do. These men deal with emotions, that most R&F JW's never experience.

Superiority Complex combined With Confirmation Bias.

These men are delusional enough, to actually feel that they are Christs Brothers. The bible can be read and interpreted in 1,000 different ways, so when these men see something in their current or past doctrine that doesn't match the facts or the bible, they do one of two things.

1. Change the doctrine, and internally blame the past GB for making such foolish assumptions,

2. Change the Bible, and blame Blaspemous Christendom for translating scriptures with a slant.

They are powerful, they are special, and they are chosen.. Why convince them selves that it's all a lie?

Its not different from the Jewish Priests, in the OT that had lost all protection and favor from God, but continued preaching that God was with them, They were chosen, and they would be delivered.. It was "Apostate" Men like Jeremiah, that had to try and set these men and their followers straight.. They tried to Kill Jeremiah.

One other Tip, that you can use :

Performing the Google Search, will locate the Article that contains the Search Query.

The Problem is, that when you download the PDF publication, you often open the book at Page 1.

In your PDF Viewer, once the PDF is open, hit the the combination of Keys - Ctrl+F

This will bring up a Search Bar, that allows you to search the entire PDF Document, and Index through all results of a search word in the PDF.

we are always talking about j w dot org and i am worried it's helping them.

is that true?.

Simon can set all Links as "Do not Follow" meaning, all of our links do not give .jw.org any "Link Juice" or Search engine ranking. Most likely he has already set this up, if not, it would be a Very Good Idea.
