2001 Symposium on "Problems of Bloodless Surgery" in Moscow - Sherri Ozawa explains the HLC and bloodless medicine clinics
by OrphanCrow ina few years ago, prior to researching the field of "bloodless medicine", i was under the mistaken impression that bloodless surgery was a field of medicine that sat "outside" of the watchtower influence and operated as a part of mainstream medicine.
since that time, i have discovered that "bloodless medicine" has been founded and maintained by the watchtower society itself.
bloodless medicine is the watchtower society - it has been organized by people who have been trained by the wts and therefore, the bloodless industry is controlled by the wts.

I don't think that the pope should be involved in telling doctors how abortions should be conducted, and I don't think that the pope should be invested in birth control pills.
I had not thought about it from that perspective. Thank you--very apt.

We can all do something that will take less than 30 minutes and cost under $5--anonymously! Simply look up the major hospitals near you and find out the name of the Chief of Anesthesiology. Print this out and mail it to him or her. Do this once a year. “Jehovah’s Witnesses and Blood” brochure

JW ended a relationship with me
by V1922 inmy jw boyfriend just ended a year and a half relationship with me.
it came out the blue and i'm deeply hurt by this because we were so compatible.
he did it right before the big annual gathering he is presently attending.

"We were so compatible"--you thought so, based on the persona he presented to you, which was not honest. -

Purge this man out of your heart and mind as soon as you can. It's a cult--a high control group that brainwashes people. That's why we call them the Borg. What kind of religion does this? Watch a movie about the Borg or watch the movie called The Village, and you'll see.
Clearly, he is not mentally free of the mind control. You can take comfort in the fact that you dodged a big bullet. This is an evil cult. Here's what happened to me, and others experienced horrible abuse of every kind.
"The big annual gathering" you mentioned is prime hunting grounds for single j-dubs, coincidentally.

Whatever Happened to the Remnant?
by snugglebunny inback in the 50's, when i was just a skinny kid, my father became po of a new congregation.
he'd only been baptised for around 4 years, so his rise was quite remarkable.just one of his flock in the new cachement area was of the "remnant".
this lady was well into her 60's, childless but married.

She claimed to be able to recognise fellow remnant members and they claimed the same.

Once again, you and I share an interest, Orphan Crow.
"bloodless medicine" has been founded and maintained by the Watchtower Society itself
I found that out as well. As with many other things, wts steps up and takes credit for certain things they did and did not do, while at other times they pretend as though others did things they did. They flip back and forth between these strategies as the situation suits their needs. (They do this with the Holocaust, neurolinguistic programming, and the US civil rights movement, among other things. It's a standard strategy of theirs.)
I've found a high level of dishonesty among "bloodless medicine" proponents. The dishonesty centers upon their ties to wts/jws. They predictably deny their sympathies or outright involvement with the cult, while presenting their information at conferences and online.
I have come to regard "bloodless medicine" as comparable to Scientology's practice of not allowing women to make noise during labor, or sweat lodges to cure cancer.
Medical professionals use "unusual cases" to learn things, so sometimes you will see a journal article about a particular case. For example, they may learn the efficacy of alternative approaches--something they could not normally learn in an ethical research study where they cannot use humans as sacrifices. j-dubs misconstrue this as validation--"doctors are learning we are right."

Why hasn’t someone gotten real pissed off yet?
by John Aquila ini keep reading of some guy who is so upset at someone that he goes into a theater and shoots 20 people..
or a kid that is so mad that the other kids made fun of him that he goes to school and shoots a bunch of kids..
or some guy that was fired from his job and he goes back and shoots of bunch of his workers.

I read that sentencing was under way yesterday for the Colorado theater shooter, so maybe Simon Says may be confusing that with the Louisiana shooting, which occurred after this thread was started.
Even if this thread had been inspired by the LA incident, I see absolutely nothing ghoulish or inappropriate stated here.

@ this sad moment, CNN is reporting breaking news of a shooting in a Louisiana theater. :(

In regards to j-dubs doing this, it has happened. In my congregation, a bro got in trouble and there was some sort of altercation or argument with the elders. The elders accused him of demonism. I heard a rumor he was hearing voices, which fits with the story. Back then they thought there was no such thing as psychosis & counseled psychotic folks to stop their demonism.
The bro then murdered his 2 young kids and wife, then went to a gas station, poured gas on himself and tried to light himself on fire. He was caught and arrested.
They were a beautiful family and even the bro was really amiable, to my recollection. I don't remember any signs that he was mentally ill, but I was a kid myself back then and may not recall.
My guess is this happened in 1978 or 1979. Does anyone remember this? Upstate NY.
