I found the root of your problem. It has 2 parts:
1. I'm going to meet with them
2. after the meeting on Sunday
Your solution is to eliminate #1 and #2.

by Yondaime inso last night i was talking to my sister about how i admired president obama's speech to the u.n that happened earlier that day.. i then compared the extremism of isis to how much of a fanatic my jw bil is.. at the end of the statement , my mom walked in to the kitchen.
she was standing in the living room and she heard everything i said.. she called the elders that night to tell them what i said so they can counsel me.. i'm going to meet with them after the meeting on sunday!.
what do i do?!!!!!.

Posters do you know of any cases where a devout JW was DF'd for Lesbianism?
by booker-t ini think this is a hush hush topic among jws but i remember years ago at an assembly i saw two sisters(i am only assuming they were jws they could have been studies or relatives of jws) walking arm and arm like a married couple.
some of the jws looked at them like they had horns.
some of the jws moms were covering their small children's eyes and those two women were stared at like they had the plague.

I remember hearing a story about a female actress. I was told this story in the early 1980s. I thought it was about "Christie Love". I do not remember that actress, which is weird because I was so into detective shows and Laugh-In.
She had done some racy stuff in her career, not befitting a jw, which she later regretted. She began studying and was already in love with her manager or a cameraman (?) who said nothing when she talked about jws. Finally, she wanted to get baptized and told him she needed to know where he stood on the religion. He then disclosed he was into spiritism and the demons told him not to tell her. My memory is fuzzy on this so I might have the story wrong.
This story was in writing (book? interview? ragazine?).
I just did a search to see if she had written a biography or something, but I found nothing. Anyone remember this?

I am sorry to hear you're going through this. I have no idea about being a parent, but I've reinvented myself from nothing a few times too. It feels awful and terrifying. I guess one good thing is you know it's possible, having done it before. I hope you'll continue to post here for support.
One thing I do know about is addiction. Here is a resource that may be of use to you as you go forward. It can be important to get help for yourself, even if there is no goal to reconcile.
It's interesting, isn't it, that fundie xian groups tend to push marriage so young. That tends to just subjugate the woman--she hasn't built a career or sense of self as an adult, so she tends to not leave bad relationships. Getting married when you're so young and brainwashed seems to skip over several of te steps needed to make a relationship successful (not always, of course).

by Crazyguy inmy question is since it looks as though mammoths were alive after the flood and we know elephants are then how much food was needed to feed just these four animals for the time they were on the ark.
also was the ark, 500 feet long, big enough to hold the amount of food needed for just these 4 animals.. .

Oh yeah, I remember that. Sticking out of the bookbags so the children would see the weapon the whole time. I fail to understand how that could possibly be appropriate.

Does anyone who was spanked as a child ever look back at it in a positive light? I saw we had one "neutral" response. Is there anyone who thinks it was the right thing to do and there were no other options? Just curious.
