i can be quite happy, down the pub, at work, with friends etc and an awful thought creeps into my mind that my mum might be suddenly ill, or one of my niece/nephews might get hurt/be hurt, it's really weird in that i have to stop what i'm doing and make a phonecall just to check.

i don't tell them that when i phone, just sort of phone like its a casual thing.

it is almost like catostrophic thoughts, i hate them and they always prove to be unfounded, trouble is it does sort of start to rule your life.

Yep, I get them, especialy after some traumatic event. They go hand in hand with anxienty, panik attacks, and my personnal fave, hypochondria. Been seening a shrink now for a couple a years. On some meds, they help a lot. Shrink says, I'm probably sesitive to them, but the JDub like has made them explode.

If fact that was the reason for joining JWD.

there wouldn't be thousands of different religions around the world, and people killing one another in the name of god.

Do JWs give you the creeps?

i'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but i've recently begun to get the willies when i'm around an active jehovah's witness.

this didn't happen until after i started posting here.. when i stop by my parents' house on a saturday morning and the witnoids show up, i get a sinking feeling in my stomach....a mix between sickness, fear, and anger.

i used to try and put on a happy face and be sociable when they came in, but now i just wave goodbye and as i'm walking out.

it's not your conscience causing this, it is what you said. They make my stomach turn too. For me it like watching a twilight zone episode of robotic brain deads. It is frustrating watching the delusional. But, it's their problem. Unlike what we were taught - that we must impose our beliefs on other prople, - we don't have to.

these references were changed on line by a jehovahs witness, who didn;t like it.

this jehovahs witness has invited people to mail him to discuss his views, so i am posting it here and would encourage everyone to send him your thoughts on the subjects he has listed.
