  Auldsoul, I've checked and I can assure you that nowhere in the bible is atmosphere mentioned, only sky. And, what your scientific type of vocabulary is inferring goes beyond what is written. I can only assume that ..... OKAY, I was being facetious. steve

  D Dog, I not infering the existence or not of GOD. I am talking about the possiblity that God got the ball rolling in a way that He knew would end up with us. That His design included the evolutionary process. Is that beyond the capabilities of God? steve

  remember back in the 80s when olive oil was all the rage?

  you had to cook or douse everything with it.

  then the tv chefs started to notice its shortcomings - that extra virgin wasn't very good for frying (but great for dressings) or for use in mayonnaise.. remember when you could only cook with polyunsaturated or monounsaturated oils, otherwise you'd drop dead?

  I need some quick info

  i need some quick info, i really dont have the time to do it all by my lonesome self.. i need examples, in the bible and in the wt publication, where lesser ones are glorified for ratting out their leader or such.

  i hope im making this clear enough, when posed with the un thing our family is hell bent on who are you to question.

  so i think i will only get one more e-mail to give some (hope a lot) of examples to where we are all required by god to keep each other on the straight and narrow, regardless of position.. thanks all,.

  auldsoul: If anyone can explain this schism, I would be pleased to consider the explanation.

  Explanation in part:

  I've noticed that many replies have been made by posters not actually reading what others have written, but just assuming.

  Also, this topic, 'believe it or not', can become quite contentious. It rattles the cage of most people because it is part of 'THE big question'.

  Dido, it's a shame you don't want to continue the discution because you have actually contributed to it, albeit inadvertently, demonstrating the processes of evolution.

  This process is described as "mutation and natural selection result in variation".

  There is a difference between you and me with regard to prescribed antibiotics. That difference is a variation in our species. Us being humans. Those antibiotics work for me, however, they don't work for you.

  I assume that you believe that we are all descended from Adam and Eve. They are both our very distant grandparents. Their kids were given their genes when they were born. That is called 'inheritance'.

  In post 304 you showed how gene inheritance transferred your fathers genes to you. You can see this because both you and your father share this same variation.

  My father transferred his genes to me through inheritance, and you can see that both he and myself do not carry with us the same genes, as the antibiotics work for us.

  So, somewhere between our common grandparents and today something happened where a variation between our species occurred.

  That is evolution.
