  Singledom - the peaks and troughs?

  i have almost completed the first year of my adult life (since 18) as a bachelorette and was wondering what others' experience of singledom is?

  what would you say are the advantages to being single (other than being able to pioneer .

  what are the things you miss the most about a relationship?.

  I remember I was the same as you for a while, I hated being alone, but then I got used to it and started enjoying the freedom of it. Although I still have my son with me so I was never totally alone. But now after being in a relationship for nearly three years I hate being alone, hubby has to go travelling for work in a few weeks and Im dreading being alone with the kids for three nights heheh Ive learnt to depend on him so much. It shall be interesting

  Ian (Dansk) in hospital with CMV

  hi, everyone ---.

  claire asked me to let the board know that ian is back in the hospital and expected to be there for about a week.. those of you who have been following the weekly vigil thread know that his cmv has returned.

  the virus is not responding adequately to the tablets, so ian needs to be medicated intravenously.. please keep ian and claire in your prayers.. marjorie.

  NEVER get gifts from my hubby!!

  so tomorrow is my 9th yr anniversary and my hubby (semi-active jw) has never bought me anything for our anniversary.

  he may have gotten me a card once or twice.

  last year i gave him cufflinks and told him i was getting him something 3 days before our anni.

  My ex hubby and I always gave each other presents for our anniversary, and either went away or went out for dinner. It was the only thing we were allowed to celebrate so we made the most of it.

  So sorry about your situation that really suxs

  Is there anyone else who hasnt gotten there Secret Santa???

  i havnt received mine yet, im just wondering how many others havnt either???

  just incase mine has been registered so it can be tracked.

  we have already had one bad experience this week, had to send on hubby's xbox console as it overheated and died, the post have "misplaced" it, im so glad we have it insured.. es.

  Heheh maybe we should Nos.....Ive learnt a few tricks now on what to send, I sent my ss a book and a packet of biscuits from australia and postage cost me double what I paid for those two heheheh

  hopefully we get ours soon hey.

  Presents to children from JW grandmother?

  we received a parcel for our boys today from besty's mother.

  presents, photos (of seals!

  ) and a card addressed to them asking for some photos of them!

  I let my children have the occasional gifts my folks give to them, I read any letters beforehand, there is one that I havnt given my son, but have kept for him when he is older. I also still continue to send anniversary presents to them from the kids, I do this to show them Im a bigger and better person then they are and hopefully it will one day make them realise how stupid they are being. Believe me it takes a lot to do this but I make myself.
