Well I sure don't mind any of us here bragging about the accomplishments of our children! Congratulations to your son for a job well done. I love Fidler on the Roof, it's probably my favorite musical of all time.

jw's at your door are a nuisance, but so are telemarketers on the phone.
how do you deal with them?.
i sometimes say, "i'm very interested in what you have to say, but excuse me for just a minute, i have to go to the bathroom.".
Try, "I'm unemployed, and can't buy anything!" Or you could ask the telemarketer for his/her home phone number, because it's an inconvenient time for you right now. When he/she says that he can't give it out, then you tell him that you want to return his call at a time that it is inconvenient for him/her.
Or just get caller ID on your phone and don't answer if a business name pops up. That's what I do or if an "out of area" is displayed. I figure, if someone needs to leave a message and it's really that important, that's why we have voice mail!
brother emsahw (i think that's how his name was spelled) was my district overseer.
he was also the most flamboyantly effeminate higher-upper of any witness i came across (yeah, yeah...i know).
for many witnesses he was eccentric, from my standpoint, well, you know...
I'm originally from Arizona and I was a JW in Tucson from 1972-1980, but I never heard of this person. I remember Floyd Kite though! And there was a Brother Sallis?
Preston, what part of AZ are you from (in)?
I'd like to find other XJW's from the Tucson area as well.

Just a note about Rondoggy2000: I'm on his group too as a moderator and he's a really nice guy and I wholehearted recommend joining that group as well if you are anywhere near West Virginia.
Have a great day everyone!

...if these are not signs of the last days...
Well, W definitely doesn't look good in drag, does he? Where is Rue Paul when you need him/her?
this is pretty strange or odd how it worked out this.
even if you are not religious you'll enjoy this.. .
what is the shortest chapter in the bible?.
Hi Lee! Yeah, someone that we both know and love sent this to me a few weeks ago. And it surely does work, by golly! I thought of posting it here, but I thought for sure someone had already done so. So I only posted it on my Yahoo Group, Ex Jehovah's Witnesses California.

i am switching computers and my old one has all my sites saved on "favorites".
is their some way that i can save these addresses on to a disc so it will be easy to transfer them to my new computer?is their a way to save your internet history on a disc?
Oh that's easy. Just go to your "program files" from "Start". Then find your "windows explorer" and open that up. Go to your "Windows" folder, then scroll down for your "Favorites". When you find them, just highlight it and do a "right click" with your mouse button and then "copy". Paste on to a floppy disk on drive A or a zip disk.
Hope that helps!

Hey alamb, this isn't considered talking behind your back. I called to tell you about it, so it doesn't count, LOL! Oh and stay out of the blizzards there.
