You can listen to him speak on this website: http://www.jwinfoline.com/Page/audio2.htm It's the second one from the bottom. I met him too in 2001 at the Witnesses Now For Jesus Convention and he's a really nice man, very caring and concerned.

Before the US takes out Saddam. . .
by drahcir yarrum inwe need to take into consideration that in the last election in iraq, he got 100% of the vote.
like many dictators throughout the world, he is immensly popular.
he probably is stockpiling weapons of mass destruction to keep them out of the hands of real bad guys.

Who here is shunned by family?
by Brummie inremember the watchtower that asked "are jws a cult?
" and then listed things that cleared it of the accusations of being such?
cant remember the date.. anyway one of the things it said was that "cults" usually have a lot of ex members testifying against it and the damage it has caused to their family lives.

Yes, I've been "shunned" by my family for 23 years now. I left the WT in 1980 when I was 24 years old. My kids have been brought up not really knowing my side of the family who are JW's. My daughter used to ask me if she had a Grandma from my side of the family.
For a while my parents did talk to me over a period of about 2 years. Then my mother found out about my websites and she and my father are shunning me once more. So I am now back to square one once again.....sigh.

Yeah, I could tell that the niners won by all the noise my hubby was making. He's a dyed in the wool 49ers fan. He has 49ers lamps, coasters, and other paraphanalia in his "den".

Oh Wickenburg, that is a lot cooler than Phoenix or Tucson. It shouldn't be that bad at all. Seems like a nice little town too. http://www.wickenburg-az.com/index.html
Hope you enjoy living there, seems you picked a nice town!

Random Task: Hey, sometimes the temperatures in Phoenix can get up to over 100 by late April or May. Then you put up with triple digit temperatures until October or so. That was my secondary reason for leaving. It may be a lot more expensive to live in California, but at least I don't have to put up with the draining HEAT. Pass me the iced tea please.
