  As JWs, ever met any annointed ?

  in your time as jws did you ever meet any of the annointed?

  did they have good christian personalities and what did they think of the wts and its governing body ?

  i met one and he was very unhappy with the way the gb treated him and generally the way they run this society, he told me he wrote them two letters containing a long list of complaints with full scriptural support but he was ignored, first letter got a reply amounting to "no need to write to us" the second one no reply at all.

  1.Knew one of these.

  schizophrenic, severely depressed "sisters" that insisted they were annointed (although most of them kept getting disfellowshipped for f*cking everything with a male appendage), but it was the deemunz that made them do it.

  2. A "brother" who claimed to be for the longest time, but quit "partaking" after his daughter was DF'd.

  3. A lovely older "sister" who married a fantasic CO after his wife passed away. He was asked to step down after the marriage. ???????

  I did a very small favor for them. After which they would always come up to warmly greet me at assemblies. It was a change from a CO getting his "ring" kissed by the masses.

  here is the entrance to walkill... another good use of those voluntary donations.. here's the boys doing some work on... bindery equipment i think (at this point i was still half asleep).

  this week service meetings are recycling old kingdom ministry articles regarding the danger of electronic communication such as the internet and email.. .

  like i heard at a recent circuit assembly, "don't let your mouse turn you into a rat!".

  These KM's are nothing more than "electronic" dog collars. They're meant to shock anyone who trries to leave the boundaries that are set up by the "owners"

  Purplesofa brought out a lot of valid points in her posts. Many faithful "friends" have been trashed because they had web sites meant to be of encouragement.

  Picking the nose....

  what is the deal with the male species thinking it is ok, to pick their nose in public??.

  i find it repulsive .... it just seems to me,when i catch people picking their nose, in almost all cases,it is a man doing it..... do men, find it hard to find a kleenex???.

  nice to meet u. i have been a lurker on this forum for as far back as i can remember.. i was brought up as a fairly devout jehovahs witness since the age of 5.

  Why don't people put anyting in ther bio????

  was just looking at the depression post and looking at pepole's biography.. why doesn't a lot of members put anything in there bio.. i undersatnd that many may not want to be identified, but i think bio makes it easier for us to undersand each others history.

  Blood Directive card and the inactive

  recently got a visit from the elders after 2 years of being inactive.

  my question is "has any of you fellow "inactivites" ever been offered a new bdc on a visit.. if the issue is so "ever lasting" life important wouldn't the elders at least ask if yours was up to date?

  that's assuming they are still handed out.. just asking cause i was in a serious car accident that made the local papers.

  Just asking cause I was in a serious car accident that made the local papers.( 6 months ago) Two people were seriouly injuried. I had a hairline sternum fracture. Even though I didn't receive a visit "of concern" then it made me think of the BDC.

  since the jw religion is sooooo restrictive, it is good to think about just how wacky this cult is.....for example, you can get counseled for buying a 2 door car as opposed to a "pioneer" car (4 door).

  Talking to a sister alone outside in the parking lot of the hall.

  Her husband cheated on her. My wife cheated on me. Not even with each other. Go figure.

  We were just trying to encourage each other.

  Also:

  Giving a talk using the Wizard of Oz main characters as examples. Half the congregation applauded the talk even though it wasn't my first. hee hee

  Size matters. Avatar works if it's 45 pixels(width) 0.625 inches/ 35 pixels (Height) 0.486 inches.

  Go to Profile/ check upload picture from computer (wherever your picture is stored)

  Wait awhile for your avatar to show up. May take a little while. Hope that works for you.
