i already attended some time ago.
i kept the program and took thorough notes, so i plan to properly time a well-prepared sms message to everyone's smartphone with diagrams and a link about endosymbiotic theory just as it's mentioned from the platform during the drama!

' fair comment i'd say.
but jesus didn't say 'paradise' earth.. now i know some of you don't believe in the bible (which i respect), and i'm not after a debate.. what i'm interested to hear is how you would refyte that jesus was not talking about a jw 'paradise earth'.

I would like to live in a world where there is love, peace, and tolerance. And I admire the people who promote it.
But on this issue, I'm a bit of a pessamist. Human nature is not going to change anytime soon. So what I'm saying is, whoever wrote this passage in the Bible was an idealist just like every other idealist that tried to change the world.
The ruthless and powerful outnumber the meek.

The great changes that are far reaching and far lasting have been done by "the meek", not the "ruthless and powerful".
If that was the case, well...what a world we woudl truly live in !
The horrors and attrocites would be horrendous beyond imagination.
Oh really? Let's recall some of those attrocities. The USA for example, how did they get all this land? Oh yeah by almost wiping out all of the Native Americans for their land. IMO it was the Native Americans who were "meek". Look what happened to them.
But I'm sure you can give me a counter example.

OMG shunning story
by man in black inmy wife and i went to fedex / kinko's this afternoon and ran into a girl who was df'ed several years ago, (her parents are quite the rabid jw's.).
they have two daughters, and the younger one recently got married at the kh.. the older one who we were talking to proceeded to tell us that she decided to attend her younger sisters wedding ceremony which was fine despite the fact that nobody talked to her.. but after the wedding she was basically ushered out of the hall.
she was not allowed to participate in any pictures, or allowed to speak to the new couple.
