  Facebook Updates and Family Communication ... or a lack thereof

  how would you feel if you just learned about an important family event from a facebook update and not directly from the family member themself?

  how would you feel if you realized that in fact they had tried to call you (they didn't leave a message saying why they called because they wanted to tell you directly), but you never bothered to return their call?

  my step-daughter recently got engaged and tried to call her brother to tell him.

  Did anyone find the movie The Grey slightly offensive?

  its portrayal of grey wolves was horribly inaccurate.

  it will probably lead to an even more negative attitude toward wolves, which puts them in more danger.

  i believe i read that the creators bought dead wolves while producing the movie.. its main characters' philosophizing was pretentious, cliched, and insulting to my intelligence.

  It was entertaining, but then again It's one of my favorite genres. I thought the main character's self dialogue was kind of boring, but somehow I think the last dialogue in the scene made up for it.

  If you're a fan of the Survival Thriller genre you'll love this movie.

  I loved the movie. Specially the ending. I don't see how anyone can confuse the portrayal of the wolves with the real animals, it's very obvious that they were a bit exaggerated in the first scene when they stare back at them.

  i go to aa and there are a few who believe medical marijuana is an "outside issue" and they are ok with it.

  i don't know... alcohol doesn't work for me but if it did, i would use it... i wish i could find a "new drug" that works lol.

  I like the smoke high better, but since I started training I had to give it up because it was effecting my workouts.

  Must've been a better strain, but then I again I ate 3 high dosage brownies. I thought my heart was going to explode, my mind was thinking too many things at once, and when I laid down my body felt like it was floating. It only lasted about 20 minutes though.

  Edit to add: You can't over dose on MJ. If you get to much, you just fall asleep.

  That may be true for vaporizing and smoking, but cooking it is a different story. Put too much in a brownie and you might just THINK you're over dosing. Lol
