  jw.org - My reasons why WTBTS are moving over to the internet

  so we all know that the blotchtower and awake are becoming 16 page mags.

  yes, they are becoming the "weetower" and the "halfasleep".. they are moving some articles over to jw.org and i have a few reasons why i think they are doing this:.

  Falseprophet is right. You're IP only gives the location of your ISP provider, so it wouldn't work to track congregations. Only authorities can get more specifics from your ISP.

  Have You Ever Gone To Meetings While Under The Influence Of Booze Or Drugs?

  i had an italian elder friend that regularly drank his wine (daily) and it was obvious that on some thursday or tuesday evenings, he was clearly under the influence of alcohol.

  quite often, we would have a 3:00 sunday afternoon elder's meeting and once again, i could tell he had been drinking.. nobody ever brought it up but i knew him well and he loved his vino and martinis!.

  we had a number of people on meds that would either act like zombies at the meetings or cry or get aggressive.

  i have been lurking on site for some days and thought i would share my story.. i am a warrior wizard, who has had dealings with a jehovah's witness family.

  reading through the posts here i realise that these people shun those those who have left the organisation, that is very sad.

  i was never even given the chance to become a member.

  i've just happened upon the following website article featuring an interview between richard dawkins and dr rowan williams, the archbishop of canterbury.

  i was surprised to discover that, when asked directly "why don't you call yourself an agnostic?

  Agnostic and Atheist are pretty darn close to each other. I think SOME of the Agnostics label themselves that even though they may lean more towards atheism, because the label "Agnostic" appears less negative to believers.

  several have asked about wtlib cds and usually everyone wants the newest available, but i would like the older ones and try a compatibility mode suggested by a jw.net member within windows, to run them.

  they have some books and brochures etc... on them that the newer ones don't.

  i want them for referance as well as simply a collecting standpoint.
