  WHY 12 tribes in Rev don't match original 12 tribes, accidentally ran into the answer.

  before i go further, has anyone researched or ever found an explanation?

  i am into other topics now but fell upon some actual reasons.

  i believe the wt just says it's symbolic and since it's not the same 12 as originally, that it proves it's symbolic.

  the bible did not exist in jesus' day nor in the lifespan of his apostles.. people didn't walk around with one (bible) tucked under their arm.. christians didn't carry one (bible) door to door for preaching and teaching.. the closest thing to the bible was the septuigint greek translation of hebrew scriptures which not one person in a 10,000 had ever seen!.

  First Bibles year 331 AD

  In the year 331 AD, six years after the Council of Nicea, Constantine ordered that 50 copies of the bible be prepared at a scriptorium run by Eusebius. Two of the 331 AD fifty bibles have survived. One of them has been kept at the Vatican at least since 1475 AD, when it first appeared on their catalog list. It is called the Codex Vaticanus. In 1844, Constantin von Tischendorf discovered another of the fifty 331 AD bibles in a monastery at Mount Sinai and it is called the Codex Siniaticus.

  The Bible was compiled at the Council of Nicea, to get rid of the false christians.

  "Babylon the great" is the first century jewish priesthood in Jerusalem.

  It was replaced with "the new Jerusalem" the christian priesthood, the true worshippers of God.
