i was given a cat whose name was "piti".
i found it strange, but i kept it.
When my husband & I first got married he wanted a black BMW car.... well we knew that would never happen, so instead, I made a deal with him, that if he would get me a puppy, we could name him "Beemer".... he happened to be black too. so I just say that my husband DID get his black beemer afterall.....
Beemer unfortunatly passed away, and we had to stick with the "transportation" theme for our next puppy,so named him Oliver, after the Oliver tractor.
as you people don't know who i am or what i can do, i'm going to tell you a little something, i'm having this site closed for breeding religious hatred, believe me i can do it i will be doing this someone better register .

I have put the extra time I have to good use and have started taking fitness classes at the YMCA.... I'm actually taking better care of myself NOW, than when I was a dub.
I also enjoy being able to spend more time with my family, catching up on my favorite TV programs ( they all seem to be on Thursdays nights ) , & being able to sleep in on the weekends!
no i haven't read the replies to my last post although i'm finding it hard to resist.. but let me just add some things.
there is no doubt that some of you 'apostates but you don't even know it' thought you have given some very clever respones.. just to clarify, i've had my share of the world and i'm glad i'm out of it, you however are hanging around on a jw site this is my first and last day of looking on here - and i'm only on here to wnd you lot up, .

yep- my favorite sister when i was growing up is still one of them.
even though all of her family has found out the truth.
we all have tried our best to help her see it's not the truth...but,she brushes everything off and says oh well.

I agree about being fed up with the brainwashing..... you just want to pull your hair out!
I think it's gotten to the point that our sister immediatly puts up a brick wall whenever we bring up something or someBODY from the religion. In the past I'm sure she would have been openly shocked and repulsed, like we were, of this news. Now that we are on the other side, she defends anyone up and down regardless of who they are or what they did. We are the enemies now. There is no way of changing that, but time ( hopefully.)
Don't worry, she'll come around eventually!

I ran the numbers on this a while ago. Used average death rates from the World Health Organization.
Using WT logic, that "newly annointed" partakers are replacements for those who were unfaithful - the "annointed" are the least faithful group of JW's on the planet!!

I was at a school conference recently regarding GenX GenY, etc.
One point noted regarding the differences for Gen Y is they dont respect TITLES. You need to prove yourself to them - earn their respect. This was different than previous generations - the higher the title, the more respect.
Young JW's will vote with their feet - and start leaving at an even faster pace.

for background info: two elders came to visit this afternoon.
so i'm at work tonight and just before the coffee shop closes, i run downstairs to get something to drink to tide me over the next several hours.
as i approach the kiosque, i see a familiar face approaching from the opposite direction.
Elder - "How are you?"
Me - "Great, I'm great. Thanks for asking."
Elder - "No your not."
Me - "Not what?"
Elder - "Not great."
Me - "Well, why did you ask, if you already know how I am?"
Elder - "Your not doing great spiritually."
Me - "Yes, I am."
Elder - "No, your not."
Me - "Yes, I am."
Elder - "I'm sick of your circular reasoning."
At least the elder Scully talked to actually believed her!!
