  I did have someone I rented from say my rent went up $100 instantly....they were JW's too. There was no way I could move. Actually, I had recently just moved there, was just getting things settled in.

  PURPS- Interesting game ! I made it through the month with $ 276.00 left. I had to rely on friends a lot. More than I do in real life financially for sure. I rarely turn to family or friends for financial help.

  Flipper, I think that is very hard for people when they have lost everything, to ask family and friends for help. It's new to them. They may have always been the person that was helping others and know the hard work it takes to be able to help others.

  And who really starts out with $1000?

  That's what I was thinking too, and thankfully when the apt was set up there was no mention of deposits for rent or utilities.

  the only way I made it to the end of the month was to be a criminal.

  And a poor one at that. Maybe we can understand the enticement of selling drugs and prostitution, I mean if your going to be illegal, might as well have a little bit of money too.
