I posted a pic of a raccoon on my front porch on this board years ago and someone from my congregation recognized the brick work in the pic and well, the rest is history!!!

A word of caution
by Socrateswannabe inplease forgive me if you consider this to be presumptuous, i know i am an ultra-newbie here.
but, i see a lot of threads on jwn that read something like, "what is your dog's name" or "where's your favorite vacation spot", "what's your special name for your spouse", etc.
i give the opening posters of these threads the benefit of the doubt that they are creating them simply for entertainment purposes.

The WT has it's way of dealing with issues. They throw you out of the organization and let the world pick up the pieces. The world has it's way of dealing with issues and it's inadequate as well. People are trying their damnest to help people out. They have to deal with all sorts of things to even get help, personal issues, society stigma, lack of education, lack of money, lack of empathy, red tape etc etc.
Both ways have failed people miserably. Some are lucky enough to actually get help, heal and move on. Too many fall through the cracks.
While I don't agree with everything Anonymous does, or how they do it, they are at the very least putting the information out there for people to sift through for themselves.
I think their main goal was to find the pedophile files that the WT has and that is what you all wanted. They have not been able to produce it and while trying they found this other stuff, or maybe someone asked for it, I dont effing know.
The whole world is rising to the injustices that have gone on far too long on so many issues.

Just because it is old news to us does not lesson it's value as being new news to outsiders.
Allot of activists follow Anonymous. Activists that have nothing to do with whats going on with Jehovahs Witnesses.
What has to happen is to gain interests of someone outside of your/our circle.
Not discounting any of the hard work everyone does.
But everyone strives to get what they are interested in to finally get to MSM.
But I agree, this is not earth shattering. I have not looked at all the files.
The stuff on Barbara Anderson is awesome.
