Depression is a way of life for JW's

The more I became involved with witnesses, the more I felt that I was loosing a part of myself. I felt as though they were trying to control my conduct, what was acceptable to wear, what was appropriate behavor to interact with other people, and basically ever aspect of my personality. I did not like this person that they were trying to make me become.
Every witness I know is on an antidepressant--why is that?
Including myself now.
Why did I let this happen to me?

While I was studying this crap, I became more depressed than ever in my life, so depressed that I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. I became involved in it to ease the tension between his family thinking I was the devil, actually I was pressured into learning about it by his wacko brother and witchy sister in law. He still wants to be with me, and still loves me, but that's no longer the problem...I can't be with a man who actually believes in these principles with his HEART. Sorry, sisters and brothers, but I think your religion is brainwashing too many innocent and naive people who are weak enough to fall for it. When I'd go to the hall with him and his family, everyone looks happy but if you really look hard you can see it's just an act,something is missing in their lifes--I think it called hope. What kind of religion eagerly awaits the end of the world? I mean the end of the world is very near. Death and destruction all they have to look forward to. I still will not talk negatively about his faith to him--it's what's been imbued inside his head, it's all he knows as the truth. I would love to get him out of it, but that is an impossible dream--if he left, he would be shunned and he'd loose his family. But if I don't convert he'd get disfellowed anyway--if we stay together. Right now I don't really think I want to be with him anymore, maybe it's just me, but it's how I feel. And he is my best friend who I haven't talked to in over a week, it's killing me, but I have to do it. If two people are meant to be, no amount of space or time will change that. I guess I am putting my faith in fate.

1. Jehovah God is not a Trinity
2. The doctrine of the Trinity is inspired by Satan
3. Jesus Christ is a created being, who at one time did not exist (a.k.a.Michael the archangel)
4. The Holy Spirit is not a person but is "God's active force" i.e. gravity, electricity etc.
5. Heaven is only for select Jehovah's Witnesses

Poor girl. I tell ya, I feel for you more than you know. You are in love with someone who has been brainwashed(think lobotomy) by a CULT. Oh and I am not sorry for SAYING the TRUTH of this strange religion, for I have had the unpleasantry of studying this warped and misleading teachings, your Charlie is just lost in the blarney of it all--really being cemented in his head like the PLAGUE, PROBABLY ALL OF HIS LIFE. You need to distant yourself from him. I know it's hard, trust me, I'm walking that road right now(I have been involved with a witness for quite awhile, his family are really urging me to convert, lately it seems even he wants me to convert, BUT I see only lies in this supposingly truth, only mental disorders and overwelming GUILT, if one does something IMMORAL to their made up version of god.

Does he know how much he is hurting you? I mean have you told him your true feelings? You two really need to talk about your relationship. And he needs to come to grips with the guilt that I know he is feeling because of your fornications, guilt is all about this religion--IT'S HOW IT KEEPS THE FOLLOWERS FAITHFUL SERVANTS[SLAVES].

Oh, and yo-yo-mama, it's very obvious that you are a true witness, by how cold and callous, and bitterly unfeeling you are for a worldly person. You know this guy this lost girl is seeing is one of your sheep, HE is the one making the mistakes, being immoral, Serena is just a girl being ruled by her heart and hopes for a future with him. The followers in this cult are far from perfect, actually I think a few of them are even demonic in spirit! I've seen your sisters at work flirt with any tom, dick, and harry--hoping to get a little dick, oh in the back seat of a car, or the back room of where I work. As a matter of fact, a manager was transfered to a different location, because he got caught having sex with a sister in the deli cooler. I heard one sister tell the gorcery manager that she does not believe in premartial sex, then later that night, when I was walking to my car, they were necking in her car. I could go on and on and on--I know of an elder cheating on his wife, a married sister pregnant with a black man's baby...Actually the sexual escapades of these sisters and brothers are the comedic farce of the store. So--PLEASE DON'T REFER TO THIS GIRL AS IMMORAL because sweetheart how perfect are you?

you need to do some serious soul searching. Stop living in never never land, and start living in the real world. I re-read your previous thread, and I think you both went too far, too fast. You say you were friends before, what's your friendship like now? Can you look him in the eye after what he said to you. Did he at least tell you his guilt feelings face to face or did he do it over the phone, like the coward that he is? I have been involved with a wonderful guy now for quite awhile, but lately I am pulling back. I am not interested in joining his cult faith, and as far as I can see by what I have read, watched, and felt since my "studying" began is that only a prison has watchtowers, and that is exactly what this cult is--a prison, to make their followers their loyal servant, control their life, and make everything they do or say revolve around guilt. Your guy is feeling the guilt of his faith, even if he has deep feeling for you, which I personally think he did,(premartial sex is forbidden big time, any kind of sexual relations), so for him to go that far, something had to be there. But the best advice for me to give to you is pull far, far back, and when he wants you to come over(definition=when he is horny) say no, and tell him exactly how you feel--USED!

Who Makes the Rules???

as i have been exploring the other posts, i have notice that there are a lot of rules in reguard to sex, especially oral sex and limited knowlege of foreplay.

is this something that is just an oral (oops!

there is that word again) tradition, or is it stated somewhere?
