Same here. Though I have not smoked in a public place in many years, it is the tone of non-smokers, including my family that infuriates me. It is that superior holier-than-thou attitude I see in non-smokers. When at work I go outside to smoke a cigarette, I get these looks from passers by as if I were a pariah. I've seen kinder looks from passers by intruding on a drug addict's fix. I agree with all the reasons to ban smoking, I just wish there wasn't so much arrogance involved.

when i was a teen, i aspired to be an elder.

from my pre-teens until i was 18, i was in every circuit assembly and district convention----having either ministry school talks or parts or experiences.

at 20, i conducted a bookstudy in the afternoon, also regular pioneered, was the theocratic ministry school overseer in the 2nd school and regularly taught the main school.

Typing ability

when i first started on this forum typing was not really a natural activity for me it was slow and i didn't have the patience to write long posts as i would have liked.

now i got used to it a lot better so i don't mind typing long posts more often.

what sort of experiences do other jwd members?

I am lucky. I type about 80 words per minute. I've worked for attorneys for the past 15 years, transcribing from dictaphones so I can get my thoughts down quickly. .

I love that movie! I have seen it twice on TV and will watch it again when it comes on. As for the music...I love that too.

I love the show! I am watching reruns on A&E because I don't have HBO so it is all new to me. The opening song is great. I copied it from a UK station. Hearing it played all the way through is awesome. I think it may be available on YouTube also.
