dont you know that the bible said people like you would quietly slip in the congregation and subvert the faith of some?

It was the fact that he has the arrogance to attend meetings. To go to the place of Worship of Jehovah God. That just burns me up, I am sorry folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, I would like to say how happy I am that you and hubby got back together. I personally know the anguish and depression that you go through in a marraige that is troubled. Congradulations!I am all to FAMILIAR with what you are saying. Do you think Jehovah knows your circumstances? Does he know the effort you make to go out in the ministry?. Yes he does. As a matter of fact last weeks bible reading said so. Jehovah said that Jereboams son would get a buriel because something GOOD was found in him towards Jehovah. Lesson for us? Yes, Jehovahs SEES the good in us and the efforts we put forth no matter how insignificant it may seem to ourselves or OTHERS. We need to develope that kind of attitude. Give what you can to Jehovah and Jesus when it comes to the ministry and He will bless you for it. I know easier said than done, right? The friends will make you feel like you are not doing enough by the way THEY interpret Gods word. But remember they are not the ones who gives you life everlasting, they are not the ones who you do it for, and they are not the ones who TRUELY know your circumstances and efforts you put forth.Jehovahs is!
Can you Imagine if a parent had a bad day at work, work mates giving her trouble, people saying shes not a good enough worker, I mean really making her feel like she dont belong there! Then at the end of the day she comes home and says "Kid's I am not your Mother no more, im putting you up for adoption!" The kids ask why. The Mom says " Because I had a bad day at work, the people there make me feel like I dont do enough." That would be crazy wouldnt it?
Just do what you can in the Ministry Jesus gave to us and be assured that Jehovah will not forget the work and the loved that you have shown for his name. Dont worry about how anyone else feels and there opinions.

You'll find all sorts of different people with all sorts of different thoughts and ideas. ; This can be a bit scary for someone raised as a JW and only allowed to think one way... but don't worry... you will grow to like being able to think on your own.

I have questions and so many concerns and I'm so on the fence ALL the time, but so affraid to move in one direction or the other (have you ever seen a deer in the head lights??...yep that's me!), not only because..let's face it, it's a scary thing, but I have my family to think about, my kids most of all...which were raised in the truth.

Im sorry to hear you going through this. Many of Jehovahs people are. You wanted some advice, here is mine. You say you have so many ? and concerns, brings up alot of anxiety huh? 1Peter 5:7 reads: "Throw ALL your anxiety upon Jehovah himself, because he CARES for you." Again at Psalms 55:22 it reads "Throw all your BURDENS upon Jehovah himself and he will SUSTAIN you." Despite what the friends may say and do, Jehovah cares for you and is concerned about you.
You say you are on the fence? My advice would be JUMP over to Jehovahs side. Remember the account about Elijah on Mount Carmel. He lived in very turbulent times. The Isrealites resorted to worshipping false gods, perticularly the Baals. They were Worshipping Jehovah and the Baals at the same time. Elijahs advice to them is still good today. 1Kings 18:21 " Then Elijah the prophet approached all the people and said: "How long will you people be limping on two different opinions? If Jehovah is the true God go following him". Now I am not saying you worship Baal, what I am suggesting, is that you take Elijahs advice. Jump the fence to Jehovahs side. He will help you. He has done it so many times in the past and will do it for you as well.

I think most of us would rather just live our lives in peace, without the Watchtower constantly trying to insert itself into our lives and families.I think it is the other way around. It seems to me that it is the people who won't ALLOW the Watchtower to leave them alone. We have some on here who are against it and STILL go to the meetings. The rest from what I read keep the WTBTS in there lives by coming on this board and TALKING about them and COMPLAINING about it. How on earth can you let it go and move on with life if you keep holding on to it? I just dont understand. Why dont the ones who still attend but donot believe and hate it, just STOP going? I do not get it really.
