I can't believe that ex JW is harrassing you and threatening you like that. I would be inclined to warn her that if she continues on in this manner you will notify the authorities that she is stalking you and invading your privacy. I am not sure of the correct terms to use to really scare her but i bet someone here will!
Yes he is. He wants to eventually be a youth pastor. He has to study part time so it will take about 7 years. But we both agree it will be 7 years definately worth it.
Its an excellent course. He's been telling me about it as it goes and I've really learnt heaps!
Well its Tuesday here... I work full time but I work in a stimulating envrionment so that's cool.
Last night I cooked dinner for my boyfriend while he worked on his assignment for his 'Introduction to the New Testament' course. It's really interesting. I had a look at how its set out and wouldn't mind having a crack at it myself just to look at the bible, and the bible alone, in a new manner.
Tonight just going to relax with a yummy dinner and a bottle of shiraz.
Wednesday see Tuesday.
Thursday night me and bf lead a small bible youth group for 15-17 year olds.
Friday night having some friends around.
Saturday cleaning house and that night going to a friends birthday dinner and then to a latin fiesta!
Sunday off to church, relaxing and then to youth church in the evening...

The fact that you have the intelligence enough to recognise the flip flopping of the policies of the WTBTS proves to me that you should definately be going to college. You have a brain that works well. Obviously you have an analytical mind. Go make the most of it. Pursue something that means something to you! God gave us a brain to use not to spend time knocking on peoples doors.
If I could go back in time I'd definatley have gone on to college!

Leaving the WTBTS behind you means you can begin living your life to it's maximum potential. I embrace everything life presents me now. We are so glad to have another new person along. It's always interesting to read someone elses thoughts and opinions. Stick around won't you!
it feels soooo good having finished the last assignment for the open university courses i've been doing - the 18th one this year .
now i just have to revise for the exams (3 of them over 2 days) ... and if i get at least 40% then i pass, get an extra qualification and we get extra immigration points to get us on our way to canada.
anything extra is a bonus ... distinctions would be nice but i need to get 85% in the exams for that.. although i resent the impact of the wts on my life and not being able to go to university when i should, this actually isn't a bad way to do it - you don't run up massive debts like current students do and because you have more experience probably do better at a subject than if you are starting out.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that it's never too late to pick up your life after the WTS and DO SOMETHING. What are you waiting for? Don't complain that the WTS denied you further education ... go out and make it happen!
I've always wanted to teach. But I'm scared now of dropping my career for four years to go back to school. I have financial obligations now. I wish I could study and work fulltime at the same time....
But on the other hand I admire anyone who can go out there and achieve their goals!

Its a passage I like not just an isolated scripture. Why? Because it shows that God knows the hearts of people he will let ANYONE have the good news. That the law of God IS NOT burdensome and that we will be SAVED purely because of the undeserved kindness or GRACE of Jesus Christ and not by how many hours spent in witnessing or how many meetings attended.
