i wonder if anyone else who grew up as a jw can relate with me on this subject.. i grew up hearing stories of 'faithful brothers & sisters' being tortured to a point where they were almost dead.

all they had to do to be set free was renounce jehovah and their religon.

the stories i heard of torture were graphic in nature and to this day i can not handle hearing about torture or watch it being portrayed in movies.

hi guys, yesterday someone asked me on how they could reason with a jehovah's witness.

the question just stumped me!.

from my own perspective, the people i know that have left the borg have had varying triggers... problems with flip flopping, dates, abuse, scandals, exhaustaion to name a few.

well here i am at work on a friday afternoon... a long four day week behind me.

(hahahaha).

as some of the oldies around here know i sometimes like to indulge in beverages of the alocholic variety on a friday afternoon.

Been @ work 18 hours now - its 230 am (AUST)

i've been at work since 8am yesterday morning (sunday) and it is now 230am monday morning.

i've been here all bloody day and i am exhausted.... i hate my job right now... now hopefully our management will listen to us when we say we are understaffed.. i'll probably be at work for another hour at least... and i want to go home and cuddle my hubby and my puppy... .

i could just cry... i'm so tired of all this work.

suddenly it is december... again - and we realize that with giant strides we started in january and within a blink of an eye, 2006 is on its back!.

hi guys... on an off chance that someone here might know..... my manager is one of those very well spoken, very clean cut & well attired breed of men.

however he wears this dull gold ring that looks very ordinary.

it has me intrigued because it just doesn't match up with everything else.

a woman has suffered severe burning to her anus after being struck by lightning which hit her in the mouth and passed right through her body.. natasha timarovic, 27, was cleaning her teeth at home when lightning struck the building.

a non fluff topic is unusual for me but this one has me wondering.... currently some states and territories in australia are disussing introducing a new bill/law (?

) regarding religious & racial vilification.
