  when i served where the need is great, i wrote down some.

  of the most amazing phrase that people say in the south.. straight to the point.. a few that i found.

  guess what is being said.. 1) as easy as sliding off a greasy log backward.. 2)busy as a stump-tailed cow in fly time.. 3)either fish or cut bait.. 4)even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then.. 5)happy as a dead pig in the sunshine.

  I love TonyDaniels/Theo. Dalyrmple. My current read is his book "Fool Or Physician" about his time in apartheid Rhodesia and SA. It's interesting to hear his thoughts on the death of Kim Jong Il. Insightful gentleman. Within the month he'll probably have an essay about it at The New English Review.

  i was wondering what tips/advice others have gathered from dealing with controlling people(a la jws) when one is enmeshed and can't terminate the relationship?

  how do you carve out and maintain boundaries when you must dance with the devil?.

  my rage scares me b/c i am reminded of my time in the jws..

  BOTR, I found this book useful in dealing with the BPD persons and JWs in my life. The techniques discussed will help you with the JWPDs (Jehovah's Witness Personality Disorder) gross lack of boundaries, smearing, distortions, gaslighting, tantrums and other assorted viciousness. It also offers tips on maintaining rare to no contact with your tormentor(s), should that be your ultimate decision/goal.

  Need "legal" advice about evictions

  as you guys know, i moved out of my home a year ago to get away from my verbally and mentally abusive jw husband.

  turns out he was trying to force me out and was not unhappy when i left.

  upon hearing that i was leaving, my oldest moved out on his own and the two youngest said they wouldnt stay there with him because he was verbally abusive to them as well, and they moved out with me.

  WuzLoves, I'd still check with an attorney to see if they can claim quiet title under adverse possession laws. If they were helping with the remodeling, they may have a claim.
