Why is Britain in scare quotes?
I think the Watchtower has a problem calling our country by its proper political name - "United Kingdom" as that would undermine their religious claims on that terminology
and so prefers the strictly geographical term "Britain" instead, although Great Britain would be technically more accurate in that case.
Including Northern Ireland in with Ireland makes logistical sense, but possibly speaks more to pro-republican sympathies common on the East Coast of the USA
ok, at our recent assembly, i noticed that there were quite a lot of brothers wearing beards.
not just the older dudes, but right across a range of ages, young men, middle aged men and older men.
is watchtower beginning to relax this rule at last?

i'm posting this both as an anecdote and also to see if, by chance, this person reads this site.

i've got a friend who until very recently was actively serving as an elder in hall close to bethel, and on a body heavy with bethelites.
i did some reverse domain lookups to see what web domains were linked to watchtower.
i did reverse lookups on the hostmaster address, building address, and phone number.
i've sorted and deduplicated the results.. bethelres.org.
currently i can accept the existence of "god" if you say that "god" is a superior rational being.
i support the idea for the existence of superior beings living in other places.
it means to me that we, humans, are not the superior ones in the universe.

i hope this link works but there has been virtually no sunspot activity since the beginning of this year and the suns magnetic field is down 60%.. if this link does not work, you might like to try googling: sunspot activity 2008 iceage.. the last time this happened we moved into a little ice age which lasted from 1100 to 1800.. global warming lies may well have met their match with reality.. so how will they tax us for the 'ice age?
do we get our tax back that we paid because of 'global warming'.. is this why they have made fuel so expensive....because they know what is coming and they want to make a killing?.

getting off topic now, but aphelion occurs around early July so will depend which hemisphere you live in as to whether you have a summer or winter aphelion :-)

this is a 5 year process, so the watchtower are not off the hook by any means.
I think any elder or other person having possession of the Nov 2015 letter instructing local elders to destroy potential evidence should make the enquiry aware of it.
