A faded JW about to see the Circuit overseer

so my mum who is in and really is finding it hard that i have left and faded.

shes asked me if i want to the the circuit overseer next week.. i have never met him and this is more my mum wanting me to get my problems i have with the organisation out.

but should i share everything i've learnt or what?.

tell your mum you can t be part of the organisation for conscience reasons. she has to do her own research of course, you cant tell her the reasons. but until there are major changes and apologies you won;t be going back.

i am sorry that on my first post i am asking for help and advice but i am at my wits end.

i have been brought up a witness all my life and it is all i know.

i am an ex-elder and pioneer and i don't know anybody outside of the congregation.. i have been unhappy for so long and wanted to leave.

@scared and lonely - I'm from the UK - London specifically :-) on this thread I can vouch for cofty jookbeard katewild dozy and freddo all from the UK and are just some of the good guys on the board. ignore the self-appointed "I call troll-ers" - they are a broken clock and are in fact correct twice a day on average. They have said the same thing plenty before. who cares.

PM me if you want. don't bother revealing anything else that could identify you. there are people here in the UK who have been DF'd based on what they have posted.

i don't think you'd recognise me much at all.

i'm a royal mail postman, i love my job for the early starts and midday finish, the outdoors and the exercise.. i get on with people but i'm quite insular and don't enjoy crowds.

i'm happiest when i've fired up the charcoal and i'm making souvlaki or adana kebabs for my family and a few close friends.

Kinda Sad Re: Cart "Witnessing"

slightly redacted for privacy of those involved.. so, this is "park witnessing" in oklahoma.. the parks in this community are basically walking trails and some tatty playground equipment.

most of the time, sparsely used, and today was a very blustery day.. notice the justifying comment- "quite a few" checking out the cart.
